Not a dumb question at all. My non expert opinion is that w a thinner/ shorter sidewall (21in) there is less shock absorbing than with a taller sidewall (19in tire) and therefore 19 inchers are probably a better option in pot hole territory
that's good to have confirmation of such. As it is, it took more effort to jack up the Lucid than any of my other cars and I was seriously scared that my jack might fail under the increased load
thanks but if you watch the video on Amazon, they show multiple different front wheels cars using snow socks. I think the real variable is the tight wheel well clearance in the Lucid. Might be a good idea to keep a small stick/ hook in the trunk to use to clear snow if packed in tight.
Amazon upsold me a wiring kit when I purchased the subwoofer. I dont recall the actual guage but it was relatively thick and only traversed a short distance from power source to sub.
I tried the snow socks- I practiced the installation at home w good lighting and it was relatively easy. However when I was in Flagstaff Az and it was dark, winds was howling, snow obscuring vision, hands numb and wet it was much more difficult. I finally was able to put both on; but not on...
So w all the rains in Sunny Southern Cali, pot holes are springing up like mushrooms. I hit one in the dark and got a flat about 2 miles from home. I had a can of "Fix a Flat" in the trunk and was able to get 10psi out of it and limped her back home.

It has a build in cross over, separate volume and remote. No issues w interference or excess draw on the battery either. I looked at the speakers in the front foot well...
Perhaps another solution is to improve the enclose/ surround of the native woofer- my impression was that it was minimally enclosed other than the trunk liner
The native subwoofer has a tweeter/ midrange in the middle of the woofer baffle. I didn’t want to cut any wires nor did I want to disconnect the native speaker arrangement for fear of ruining the Dolby atmos spatial imaging.
I don't consider myself an audio expert but I do expect to enjoy a great music experience while driving. Despite the hype of Dolby Atmos, Tidal and Lucid's Surreal Sound, I was disappointed, like a few others on the forum, about the lack of punch in the bass. Don't get me wrong, the highs...

Question for the community- anybody have a preference for the best location for your cellphone in the car? I'm currently using a cup- based cellphone holder in the right front cup holder so as not to block view of screen, but was wondering if anyone has a better recommendation.
Did a little research but could not find the answer- maybe the community can help out
I’ve signed up for Tidal w home computer and cell phone but when I try and sign in on the car, it gives me a 5 digit code to enter
Problem is, no place to enter linking code on either cell or home computer...
