This happens to both me and my wife, every so often. There are two potentially related problems: CarPlay won't show up as an option, and can't be turned on from the "Devices and Connectivity" menu. It randomly fixes itself, most of the time. CarPlay won't play Apple Music. Hitting play...

BUG: Auto park doesn't work, as far as I can tell. Sometimes it offers to park perpendicularly when it's pretty obviously a parallel parking situation, and at others, it simply doesn't see parking spots.

I can't figure out how to change the avatar photo for my wife's profile. The manual seems to indicate that this is possible via the mobile app, but there is no mention of the secondary user on the app. (I know both of us have to log in using the primary account, so that's what we've done)...

Both our Tesla Model 3 and our Audi e-tron GT have a way of changing the following distance while in adaptive cruise. The display seems to show several bars, indicative of such a setting, but I can't figure it out. Future update, perhaps?

We haven’t seen this problem for a while, and so we’re assuming it somehow got fixed in one of the software updates.

At any rate -- it's now working with both users. I think it was a reset and re-pair that did it, but who knows? (In fact, it switched to my wife's profile when we got back into the car after going somewhere, and I was able to switch it back, and CarPlay started for both profiles).

It ought to Just Work (TM), complete with synced audio. That is, you'll get sound from your car and the video will play on your phone.

Well, having some familiarity with software development, it's almost certain that they would not announce and ship a feature that is known not to work (if they did, their entire software organization should be summarily dismissed). It could be incomplete, or buggy, as a result of having been...

Yeah, it's hard to believe that they would actually ship software that doesn't work. My theory is that they had a deployment snafu -- some libraries that were supposed to be in the patch aren't, and someone at Lucid is right this minute scrambling to make another package to deploy.
