I think a bigger problem was laying off service and THEN having all the new software and Air and Gravity recalls right afterward. Perfect storm. The way it comes across is, Lucid is in a financial Catch22. They want to expand, sell more Gravities, and get the mid-size Cosmo going. Financially and able-body resources limited, and besieged with ongoing SW/HW problems, and trying to do TWO mid-size products in rapid succession, I have a hard time seeing how they are going to pull it off. So, they trim Service, presumably to save money, right in the middle of the Gravity ramp. I guess they think buyers will focus on the eye-candies like Gravity and Cosmo. Perhaps no one would notice Service is hammered!
There was also a sales commission change I heard which nobody liked.
