Wow. I just spent the afternoon reading all 70 pages of this thread. My inside SA called me this weekend to tell me that my DE was in production and VIN assigned. I’m now worried what I’ve signed up for. I’m a former electrical engineer and feel I’m pretty technically proficient, but some of these problems are alarming, particularly the HUD, GPS, and FDU issues. The key fobs and key cards not working consistently add insult to injury. I have a lift in my a garage and spent the last 20 years turning the wrenches on my BMW M5 before it was totaled. I was looking forward to my first EV experience and not having to deal with all the maintenance issues of an ICE car. Now I’m not so sure what I’ve gotten myself into. I can accept a few software glitches and OTA updates, but some of these issues should not be slipping through the manufacturing, QA, and PDI processes. I mean, unlocking and starting the car is Automotive 101. That is not new technology. I will be watching carefully to see how Lucid handles @hmp10’s issues.
