Lucid unveiled its Gravity X concept SUV on Thursday at Monterey Car Week, reimagining its Gravity Grand Touring platform for off-road capability. The vehicle will make its public debut at the Concept Lawn of the 74th Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance on August 17.
The Gravity X builds on the Gravity Grand Touring, which offers 450 miles of EPA-estimated range, 828 horsepower, and seating for up to seven passengers. The concept adds rugged features, including a slightly lifted suspension, wider track, custom knobby tires, and protective skid plates.
Front and rear fascias have been redesigned for more aggressive approach and departure angles, while built-in tow hooks improve off-road practicality. A modular roof system includes crossbars, LED light bars, a roof box, and mounts for additional gear.
“Lucid Gravity has redefined the limits of what an uncompromising SUV can achieve. The Lucid Gravity X concept expands on these core principles to explore new possibilities off the beaten path while showcasing the incredible capabilities of the Lucid Gravity,” said Derek Jenkins, SVP Design and Brand at Lucid.
