Over a week with Gravity, my thoughts

I'm in the media business. This stuff is hard to do--especially with limited resources. The vid is great. We should all be happy that we have some real first-person info about ownership rather than spending energy criticizing minor details. Well done HC!

So glad that @HC_79 lent his GDE to a reviewer and we got some content. Seriously, he is an owner and put himself out there. I really liked the video, and it was informative and touched on a lot of points. Someone else will make a review, and someone else after that will make another.

No one video should do it all, because honestly who wants to watch a 4hr video going into minute detail. (Although the Lucid learning series was fantastic, and wish they made another, I don’t think this sold cars unfortunately)

Anyways, all this said thanks @HC_79 seeing how amazed you are with the vehicle, when you’ve had a rocky road with you Dream Edition… tells me that this is going to be a winner. 🏆

Wow, I'm speechless...oh wait apparently not as speechless as this person.

“Just watched the video, and I am essentially speechless.
The intro was all about the frunk, the third row
I imagine sitting there with a 140k hole in your pocket, raving about the frunk
It also has 1070hp, which I guess is not even worth mentioning, cause in the world of minivans, nobody even drives right?
Something is wrong with the marketing if frunk gets all the attention and essentially the power, handling and braking performance don’t even get a mention!I think EVs have spoiled some of the performance hopes and dreams as the crazy limits of super cars became accessible as far as acceleration in all random vehicles as heavy as 10,000lbIt’s a nice video, but for 140k
I don’t want to hear about the frunk first or even 5th”
I wonder how it feels to be that person that feels they must go in and shit all over everyone else’s enthusiasm.

@HC_79 I asked the question below a couple of months ago. See image #1. Any feedback from you?
Any feedback from GDE/GGT owners is also appreciated.
@borski provided a response. See image #2.

Don’t think I’ve seen that or haven’t paid attention to it. It appears in the area where the brake hold symbols comes up which is green also, maybe it’s that but not sure

OK.
The Owner's Manual provides some information.
It provides the examples of "at highway speeds" and hard braking, but doesn't indicate other instances.

The words "if regenerative braking is adequately slowing your vehicle" are subjective.
Sounds like each situation will be different in determining adequacy.

Just curious.
I'd like to have some knowledge to help determine predictability in general.
For those also wondering, I suppose we'll learn by experience.
Thanks.

I’m assuming this functions like in the Air, it will display on the dash the brake lights on/off if you’re using Drive Assist. Otherwise it may not. It’s ok though, I’ve driven behind other airs and the brake lights work great when slowing like you would in other cars. They definitely turn on without fully taking your foot off the accelerator pedal.
