Arizona

Once you pass by buckeye you are pretty safe cause there are chargers almost every 30-50 miles at that point

We should organize a road trip to California for the AZ Governor and the Head of Transportation in a low-range EV so they can have deeper appreciation of the abysmal charging infrastructures in this part of the state

I think that is the consensus. Once, I had to skip Quartzsite due to the exit being closed. The other time there were too many car

Yep, back to civilization after Buckeye.
I drive from AZ (Phoenix area) to CA (Marin County) frequently. On my outbound from AZ, I'd charge to 100% SoC, stop at Quartzsite to recharge to 80% SoC, and will get me to LA proper. Since I travel mostly at night, the Quartzsite EA chargers are not crowded and they seem to work fine on my trips. Alternately, there are multiple chargers in the Indio area.
Starting with 100% SoC, I can also get to San Bernadino (driving at speed limit, AGT-19"), charge to 80% SoC, and then get onto I-210/I-5, charge again at Buttonwillow or Harris Ranch. That should get me back to Marin County (780 miles).

If coming from Arizona side I would top off at buckeye or whatever is last charger out of town. Charge to 95 buckeye and drive direct to Indian Wells sprouts
In Indio/Indian Wells you recommend the EA at sprouts over the ones at Walmart? I tried to make it from Indio Walmart back to phx with 95% in July when it was super hot but was down to around 45% by quartzite and got nervous and stopped. It was 8am when I got there and only 1 other car so there wasn't a line like usual.

45% SoC on a GT should still be able to get you back to Buckeye, as log as you keep the speed modest.

The EA station in Palm Spring is old and problematic. It is150kW and difficult to connect/authenticate. In Indian Wells, I've only used EA in Walmart.

Cathedral city EVGo is the way to go for Palm Springs, ignore that awful EA at Cabazon outlets.

Avoid Cabazon at all cost. Crappy chargers. Always full of people. Both @bunylebowski and I experienced people leaving their EVs plugged in and went shopping at the outlet mall. The spaces for EVs are tiny. And there are no organized queue for charging. It was pandemonium! During one charging session, the charger informed me that power was being throttled. My entire charging session was well below 60kW! DON'T GO TO CABAZON EA!!

Long time no post I would also like to add I plan to keep my side decal numbers as long as I can which is hopefully forever!

Feeling incredibly thankful to be part of the Lucid family! As a proud Lucid owner and enthusiast, it’s amazing to see how this company continues to treat its community like royalty. From the sponsored breakfast for owners to the recent Owners Rally to Electrify Expo, it was an unforgettable experience — and getting a sneak peek at the stunning Lucid Gravity made it even better!

No other brand, not even Tesla, shows this level of appreciation for its owners. The vibe, the people, the innovation — I love it all!

I also heard the Gravity press release is dropping soon, and test drives are around the corner! The excitement just keeps building.

And here’s something else to celebrate: Lucid pre-owned owners like myself now have referral codes! Just another way this company is making us feel truly valued.

Let’s keep the momentum going — proud to be on this ride with Team Lucid!

I’m so sorry I couldn’t make this event due to a family gathering.

We really enjoyed meeting a lot of very nice Lucid fans at breakfast and good look at a Gravity. Really fun event, thank you LUCID!

They mentioned they added Factory Tours to the Rewards Referral Store, I do see it there , and its April 24th, exciting for those that can afford this.
I do not have 10k points yet, seeing how I just got my referral code this weekend, but lets see where this goes, maybe you others can register for it.

I saw that. I'm waiting for more dates. I was saving 25K of my points for the tour, so them lowering it to 10K is great! But I can't get out there on the 24th.

There are at least a couple forum members I'm aware of that are going to this one. (I'm not one of them, and neither is @TribbleTrouble lol, relax)

Who's going to this Saturday's EV ride and drive event? Right now I only see two Lucids. I plan to be there early, sadly without an EV as my new one is expected to be delivered two weeks later. But I'm hoping to see friends there and check out the vehicles too. Then I'll head to Fountain Hills and see more cars :)

BTW, I also have my set of Lloyd Mats, in black Luxe, and my Heat Shield windshield cover, if anyone is interested in them. They're not powder-coated so they should be relatively cheap :)
