I've had 3 instances since 2.6.0 where Drive Assist and Adaptive cruise refuse to engage. Most recently I was on a highway trip and was using Drive assist which I turned off with a button press on the steering wheel because of road construction. When I went to re-engage with a button press the adaptive cruise imagery appeared on the main screen but I was unable to engage by pressing the button on the left toggle switch. I only got a "boink" sound when pressing the button. Long press on the drive assist button on the steering wheel did nothing. Turn signal cameras were fully functional. Proceeded to drive about 20 miles manually then exited to charge at EA. As the car didnt go into a deep sleep the problem persisted after charging. I exited the interstate and did a logo reset but that did not correct the problem. I drove on another 200 miles with those features unavailable. The features worked after a deep sleep. Called Lucid and reported. They said they are aware , working on it , and appreciated the call as it adds another data point.

I had the same problem and reported it to Lucid. I was able to replicate the problem and found that pulling over and walking away from the car (letting it go to sleep), fixed the problem. The issue came about when I overrode the Drive Assist passing a car at high speed. If I passed after first disengaging Drive Assist, then re-engaging, not problem. Reset did not work, only solution was letting the car go to sleep.

I have the same problem. I can't replicate it, it only happens when it wants to. Reset doesn't "fix" it, you have to let it sleep - which is an idiotic solution when you are on a longer trip. Also I've noticed that when it happens, the animation in the cluster that shows the car between the lanes, it's frozen.

I’ve had it happen when I disengage and try to turn drive assist back on after using it but it’s also done it on first attempt.

I had this issue multiple times on my trip out from Utah to California on Sunday. I'm not sure if there's a specific trigger in my case, but the only remedy seemed to be either an Air logo reset or exiting the car and letting it sleep briefly, so it sounds like the same issue you were seeing.

This is a known feature. If you override the drive assist and go past a certain speed, it will entirely disable drive assist until you leave and come back.

Thats different that what I am experiencing.

Yes, but the issue is that you are unable to reset the cruise control without stopping the car, walking away so that it goes to sleep. Nothing else worked including a logo reset.

Same issue. Reported. But mine is a little different.

I found mine only does this within the first few minutes of operating the vehicle. Turns on, but won't engage. Can set the speed, but stays "grayed" out.
But the weird part for me is that it will often start working after 5-10 minutes of driving.

You have the upgraded bug version :) Mine doesn't fix itself, unless I put the car to sleep.

I’ve experienced these same issues!

I just finished a 5 day drive back from California to Chicago. DD and cruise control crapped out at least 5 times. A hard reboot got it back except for a couple of times where it took multiple hard reboots of the AGT. I can only cite one instance where I accelerated hard that took out the DD and cruise . The others I don’t know why it happened. Th3 bottom line is the car should turn off DD and cruise control under adverse conditions but NOT DISABLE IT!

The system should not be disabled just because you accelerate hard. Just have the car turn off DD so you have to turn it back on. Very frustrating!

I hope the engineers monitor these fori
It's not like Lucid doesn't know about this bug, and many others. IMO they don't have the resources to fix the Air bugs, everything is focused on Gravity which will make or break the company. The Air is left ... in the air at the moment. What's worse is the lack of communication which makes an unreasonable whinny snowflake like me feel, well, abandoned :)

I had the same experience after accelerating beyond the speed limit and overriding Drive Assist. I was passing a slow moving group and wanted to do so quickly. I do not recall the speed at which it disengaged but as we know the speed comes on very fast with all the torque. Next time I feel the need for speed on the highway I will disengage Drive Assist.
