Welcome! Nice combo! Did you get the glass canopy? I live in Arizona, and I worried about how well the A/C could handle the climate. I imagine that you would face a similar challenge.

I forgot to mention... There is a groups tab in the top section of the forum's header. From there, you could easily create a group for Saudi owners, and people could then easily join that group.

Hi, yes I did go with the glass canopy. I have tinted the glass for extra heat resistance. fortunately, I have not gotten the chance to drive the car so far in middle of the day. I only put on it 300 miles so far

BTW, I used to live in AZ, Tempe !

Nice! I hear that the tinting the canopy makes a big difference with internal temperature management, and looks very cool in the process! Interesting that you used to live in Tempe. There's got to be a story there. Did you by chance study international management at Thunderbird? That's where I got my master's degree way back before they became part of ASU.

Hey, I'm Fahad from Riyadh. Had mine (2024 Touring Stealth in Quantum Grey) since December. Put it in about 4300 km.

Got everything tinted + Lucid's sunshade. It gets toasty when parked under the sun for too long, but the AC is doing a good job so far. The fans get crazy though cooling off the battery and running the AC at the same time.

I was driving from Dhahran to Riyadh about 10 years ago in a company car (Ford Crown Victoria) and encountered a sand storm. By the time I got to Riyadh the paint had been stripped off the front edges and the headlights had been sandblasted to a milky color (I probably should have pulled over and waited out the storm, but I didn't know any better). If I had a Lucid in KSA I would probably add PPF film to it to protect against that that.

yes it happened to me as well and it was brand new car. I have done PPF to avoid the same mistake....

Yes, I am an ASU graduate ... I was one of dozen of Saudis who attended the school back then... it was good time .... I used to go to Polytechnic Campus and chandler community college as well. But, I did not attend/go Thunderbird... I still have alot of friends back in AZ. my last visit was about 8 years back. I am planning to come for a visit some time next year. I used to drive a black Eclipse GSX 98. what a car to enjoy driving with Turbo spoiling up and blowing off! it was the only one in AZ as far as I know. AZ brings back good memories hhhh

Interesting! Let me know when you'll be coming to town. Maybe we can arrange a breakfast where you could meet with our local owner's group.
