Tire blow out and jack point

Oh sorry to hear that. They want to reduce risk which is right; but they really are not able to stop you. But it's not usually worth the debate to push it.

Tire blow out and jack point

Depending on the type of bend, you can get the wheel straightened. Look for a wheel shop that does custom wheels or powdercoats; they usually can tell you if it is feasible. And not very expensive; around $300. I have done it on custom wheels on my lucid already after hitting a big pothole.

    Best reactions to your Air

I had one a few weeks ago, full family in the car coming home from dinner (wife + 3 kids). Wife is driving, apparently my driving makes her nauseous A chopper pulls up even with us and starts to rev the engine and look over. Kids are all shouting to show him what fast is, youngest calls it...

    No need to reset TPMS

I think this is correct and there are a few threads on this with some nuance as to different scenarios As it pertains to tire pressure monitoring: - same tpms sensor in the same wheel position on the car (ie. right front wheel to right front wheel) irrespective of wheel or tire changes does not...

    Winter tires

The sensors on the existing tires can be used. You should be able to just switch them to the new tires. It might make it easier if you ensure the sensors stay on the same wheel. Sometimes it helps recognize easier. Mine had no issue but service was not exactly certain that would be the case...

Delivery of Lucid Air when you live in Michigan

My car was delivered in May to my home in Michigan. Box trailer with a single vehicle. I'm not aware of any laws one way of the other. The car is also registered in Michigan. No questions were ever raised to me about feasibility. Coldwater MI service center is (I think ) the only physical...

2 week review and Winter tire issue

I changed wheels using the same tire and tpm sensor with no issue. TPM sensors picked right up. Goose Island wasn't certain that it would. The work was done at an outside shop as the wheels are custom. When ordering all seasons tires 2 wks ago, a different outside shop indicated they could...

Any one seen this frunk issue before?

I have had the cinch motors replaced twice on the frunk. I believe there is a design issue with the cinch motors and latch. I have not checked but was told it was revision 7 for the motors and/or latch. Sounds like it has been a little persistent of an issue but maybe resolved now with the...

    2.0.24 Software Update

A lot of great improvements so far. Here are a couple requests/issues: 1. climate doesn't remember when you leave the car 2. climate acts wonky when selecting auto and sync; need to press your desired state a couple times for it to accept 3. would be great if the car would remember heated seats...

    19" 20" 21" wheels sell/trade thread

yeah, I doubt 4 wheels + tires will fit. Four 21in wheels in shipping boxes will fit with some maneuvering.

    Anyone lost a fob yet?

I thought I lost one walking a golf course. No way to track it as I confirmed with CS. Recollection is about $185 replacement cost. Mine was found so never had to act.
