2.0.28 installing now.

I wish they can pop up home link when we are pulling out of the garage.
Right now, after pulling out, have to manually switch off the rear camera, then press home button and then press the garage close. Too much unnecessary hassle for something so simple and obvious.
I actually still have a garage door opener on my my visor. This should be an easy fix, but Lucid doesn't do it.

Downloaded the software. It locked me in the car and shut down. I opened the door and the car alarm went off.
Now it doesn’t recognize my key. My wife drove it with her key. No Bluetooth or radio /Alexa. It also shows two cars in my Bluetooth setting on my phone but neither one syncs. Super annoying!
You didn't get the 2 minute countdown to exit the vehicle?

My GPS froze up at my house yesterday before v28, now with new software GPS is still frozen but AT LUCID HEADQUARTERS in Newark CA, 3000 miles away!

also driver camera now doesn’t work, that seems to be one of the things they touched in this update.

installed and driven today... no noticeable differences, but no problems either...

I have no idea if there’s any correlation.

I installed .28 this morning and just took the car out to drive for the first time since.

Apparently I’ve been thrown in the dog house. I CANNOT engage any drive mode except SMOOTH. Whenever I select SWIFT or SPRINT, the slider just slides right back to SMOOTH.

Naturally I left my house without my key card, so I won’t know for at least an hour if a key card reset will fix it.

UPDATE:

So I did hard reset using the key card. Problem solved. Car will accept any drive mode now, and stay there.

I don’t know if anyone else in the forum has already recommended this so I’ll just do so here -

DO A HARD RESET AFTER INSTALLING EVERY UPDATE. This is a practice very familiar to longterm Tesla owners. I’m a tech luddite, but I learned on Tesla forums that doing a hard reset clears out, or “defrags”, the car’s memory. Doing so literally gets rid of those pesky little bugs, in many cases.

In any case, a lot of small problems seemed to clear after doing a post-software update hard reset, I can’t imagine it would be very different in Lucids.

Hmm… I’ve not noticed that. And we’re toasty comfortable when it’s 20F outside. Of course, I could be singing a different tune in about a month.

Yes, this was fixed with this update. In _AUTO_ the car now sends airflow through dash in heat mode.

@Dortreo what mode were you in and what we heat set on. Also, in °C or °F?

Thanks Lucid!

Just auto, sync and set the temp. That’s it. We did turn on the seat heaters. My wife has Reynaud’s and loves the steering wheel heater.

Is anyone else getting constantly nagged to pay attention with 2.0.28? Those improvements to attention alerting seem to have not been for the better.

As to 2.0.28:

Two things. First, Lucid states that you should not have vehicle plugged in when you install 2.0.28. I didn't see that and I installed it with the garage charger plugged in and charging. However, everything went fine.

Second, and I don't know if this has to do with 2.0.28 or an earlier update, but I just noticed that you can now control the rear window shades from the front driver seat. When I first got the car you couldn't do that. I even discussed it with the Lucid representative. So somewhere along the way that was fixed. Maybe 2.0.28, I don't know. This is why Lucid should give specifics in their updates.

I picked up my GT in late September. I was on version 1.24 of the software. I could lower and lift the rear (side) window shades from my driver’s armrest switches from the very beginning.

I got my GT in early March and could always control the window shades from the driver's armrest.

Hey, my wife has Reynaud’s and loves the wheel heat too!

How fast were you going? Around town it does fantastic but at highway speeds I’ve found “auto” in the climate can’t keep up and I’ll have to crank the temp to 76 and raise fan speed to get results. Of course the very warm heated seats and steering wheel offset that!

Do the Bobby reset (log out of profile and log into guest then log back in), if that doesn’t work call service.

On the Mass Pike going 80 as usual. Odd that it depends on speed.

Welcome to the club my navigation did this from the first 2.0 downgrade my car received, think they won't be happy until everyone's doesnt work

Funny, yeah mine seems more speed dependent. Maybe cuz my auto always defaults to exterior air rather than recycled interior?

So everyone should be aware of this new feature. I went to charge up at a fast charger. While it was charging I decided to clean the glass. Phone and key fob in the car. A few minutes in I hear some odd noise not sure what it was I kept cleaning. Next thing I know the car locks and goes to sleep. Luckily I had the back open so I dropped the seat and crawled in to unlock the door. Afterwards I am sitting in the car and the noise starts again it was a timer saying the car is about to power down. This is a dangerous feature as I could have been locked out of the car with no way to open it or communicate and it appears that it doesn't sense when your in the car. My navigation still doesn't work my patience is running thin and support isn't any help as all the issues are software bugs

Funny I actually thought it was a good feature because before the car would power down if someone was sitting in the passenger seat after 10 minutes without warning. At least now they ask. Incidentally most cars with fobs will auto-lock if you leave the fob inside, so nobody can just steal your car. But I do think they need to make this system smarter where if trunk or frunk is open then the car should stay unlocked even with nobody inside.

For the navigation, there’s a module under the seat that needs to be unplugged and replugged in, just not sure which one. Same thing happened to me and service reset it while fixing a trim issue. In the meantime did you try the “Bobby” reset, where you log out of your profile then log in as guest then log back in? Seems to clear a lot of glitches when a reboot won’t. Also I assume you were texting service? That’s my approach that way everything is in writing plus they seem to respond faster, even during weird non-business hours. Sorry for the headaches, and annoyances, hopefully they can fix the navigation quickly if the Bobby reboot doesn’t.
