I would not purchase one myself, the GT is gut wrenching enough. But I'm still excited for them to release it for the positive PR!

I just don’t see the point. EV’s are at the point now that physics will not allow most tires from loosing traction and no one can tell the difference in one tenth to two tenths of a second in acceleration from what is produced now. About as useful as DD boobs on a Catholic nun. Then again if the Tri-Motor came with coat hooks that would be a different situation.

I'm too poor. Really though, are there any dream edition performance owners thinking, "ya know, its nice, but needs more power." ?

It's not the power, but the exclusive color that would draw me the most to be honest.

There will always be a market for the best of the best, even if there are big diminishing returns. It'll likely be hugely profitable per unit, too.

Awesome PR of the world fastest production vehicle too (I hope), so overall it's a great idea IMO.

My (3.5 second) Model 3 taught me that my stomach is only good for about a 4.5 second 0-60.
Agree that anything below 4.5 seconds 0-60 is just not useful. We don't need to compete over acceleration anymore, so lets find something new. 😜

The next feature should be: In cabin heater that has the capability of heating the cabin to 150 degrees, so you'll never have to worry about being cold in the winter. Then Tesla will come out with a heater that can heat to 200 degrees.

EV is gonna be too slow in the future. There will be teleport capsule to obsolete ground transportation.

If it is blue it will have to be a spectacular one of a kind. Blue is currently in 6th. position for car color popularity.

The last thing I do is buy a color based on popularity.

I agree. Blue would be a great color. Especially a blue shimmering in different shades like the Zenith Red

BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Porsche all offer at least one blue color and usually more than one. I'm surprised that blue was not one of the colors that Lucid decided to offer.

Then again, Lucid is having trouble just handling more than 3 colors.
