Who has a car that has pretty much worked flawlessly?

Had my car for just a little under 1k miles 3 weeks. The driving experience has been amazing! However, did have a trunk alignment issue and steering wheel creek that has been addressed. Have not had any other issues since. The software however needs some work. For one, I think its crazy you can't adjust the radio station and have nav running at the same time.

Zero problems for my Air GT. It has not been back to the Scottsdale delivery center since I drove it away on delivery day in early May. Now have 4,000 miles. They did the recall service at my home but that’s the only contact I have had with service. The Air GT has indeed been flawless for me. I am eagerly awaiting Apple CarPlay though.

Mine was good with no issue for 4000 miles before it died :(

What does “died” mean? Death sounds permanent. Is your car repaired? Does it function?
Had to be towed to the shop last Thursday and no news yet on when it will be fixed.

I think carplay will help me the Nav issues I have.

So far, so good with 627 miles driven. Agree with the comments on the balky software, especially loosing the map view when you switch to music selection.
I'm waiting for Apple Carplay to arrive.....

and steering wheel creek that has been addressed.
Could you please elaborate? Did they replace the steering wheel? I was under the impression that a steering wheel redesign was ongoing and simply replacing it wasn’t enough.

Yes, they replaced the entire assembly.

Yes, they replaced the entire assembly.
Are you having the same issue? I worked with the Torrance service center, they are really good with customer service.

Lots of negative posts and problem lists everywhere. Just thought I'd see if there are members here who might have had great experiences and really have had no problems. My car is coming due this next month and all the posts here make me a bit nervous. I'm extremely excited but as reality of the car sets in, I'm also getting more nervous.
I have had my Lucid Air Grand Touring since June 27th. So far, zero issues. I love driving it. My only irritation is no Sirius XM. But, as far as fit, trim, mechanics, etc., perfect...so far.

Flawlessly is a high bar. I have always been able to get in my car and drive. So far service issues have been something that could wait, but car has been in a couple times. I've been coast to coast without any drama. The software issues for media, nav, homelink, lock/unlock ... annoying, but do not stop you from driving. 8087 miles so far.

Being an existing BMW M3, Tesla Model X and 3 owner I have to say the Lucid is the best car I've owned thus far. I love driving it and the software issues on this forum do reflect my same concerns. However, being a software engineer myself I know many of those will be addressed with OTA updates. I had lots of issues with Tesla software in the past which have since been resolved. The only other car I can compare the Lucid to is a Tesla and when comparing the Lucid GT to my cousins Model S Plaid the software on the Plaid is better but, the fit and finish on the GT is superior. I think if you are looking for a more luxurious experience keep the GT.

2 weeks since delivery. 1,100+ miles including 750 mile road trip. Frunk occasionally requires two attempts to close appropriately, but you can do that while remaining in car. Also have the Tidal stopping/restarting/freezing issue occasionally (cell coverage issue maybe?) Authentication issues at both EVGo and Electrify America about 50% of the time, but easily rectified by doing the soft reset, putting car to sleep, which takes all of 30 seconds. Did take a call to customer service to figure out that no one can be inside the car, or it will not reset. Otherwise, the car is outstanding. Fun to drive, incredibly quiet, crazy quick and extremely comfortable. From start to finish every single employee interaction (SA, DA, customer service) has been near perfection. Not sure I would recommend this car to a non-techno type who just wants things to work perfectly, quickly every time and gets frustrated when it doesn't, but I'm the type that doesn't mind resetting things occasionally like PC's, Wifi, etc...Oh, and recharging on a 350KWh EA charger (for free!!!) is absolutely a thing of beauty...😊
Making us seriously consider using the car for an Oklahoma to NYC roundtrip delivery of firstborn to college later this month...🤔

forgot to mention that the customer service from Lucid is like comparing the the Ritz Carlton to a Holiday Inn. Lucid is working hard at making sure they stay premium.

Next time you are at an EA station, if you get the billing screen, instead of resetting the car, you can just start the charge through the Lucid app or the charging screen on the pilot panel in the car

Never saw the billing screen pop up, it just failed repeatedly at authentication during the Preparing to Charge phase, even though it had worked flawlessly 3 hours earlier in TX. With the EA rep on the phone he had me check all 6 available units (50/150/350) with same result each time. We tried the Lucid App method to send charger info to car, and he even did the deal on his end where he overrode everything and sent the initiate charge signal using my VIN. Got the Authentication error every time. Near the end he wanted to initiate the process to send out a flatbed to tow the car which I politely declined. Drove to a nearby Francis Energy unit with similar results. Called Lucid and determined that having a teenager in rear seat is a no-go in order to accomplish soft reset. Once we successfully put car to sleep, drove back to EA and bingo, 300+ miles added in less than 30 minutes. Lesson learned 😊

How is the EA network for your big drives?
