With all the cars coming out of the plant in the last week, it looks like they are definitely catching up on existing VINs and yours might have already started production and new VINs should/hope will come soon.
 
Not saying it's the case, but it's also possible they changed when they assign VINs after the backlash they have received for getting a VIN too early in the production cycle.

Yes that too, we have a March 29 order confirmation date (White/Mojave) so maybe by the end of July. Saw a black AGT driving down the neighborhood road two days ago and I was so jealous, the car looked amazing approaching from the front.

Based on the recall data,1117 cars and the number of deliveries in the tracker as of the same date, 52, this forum represents about 5% of Lucid's total sales. So when one looks at the tracker and sees 5 members with earlier confirmation dates or with the same confirmation date, multiply by 20 and you will have a rough estimate of the number of cars that need to be produced before you will get your vehicle. In my case, March 23 confirmation,15 Black, 8 Red, 14 Silver, 1 White and 11 Grey are ahead or have the same date. That implies around 1000 cars have to be produced before I will get mine Or maybe not. Depends on Silver cars. Do customers wait for Silver or change colors? It took Lucid 6 months for the first 1000 cars to be delivered. Note, this is a seat of the pants estimate. Further, I am guessing that production of 1000 cars will take nearly 2 months.

Thank you for the great estimate of this forums cross section of confirmed orders. Exactly what I wanted to know.
 
I'm not sure how the whole process works, but I confirmed my GT on 11 June 2022 and just received a first contact from my DA introducing himself and setting up an initial phone call. I guess this means my order will officially enter the queue for production this year? My expectations are for a probable November delivery. I'm setting my sights low to avoid disappointment and looking on the delay as a software-improvement window. I'm taking a road trip to have my first actual test drive on 9 July - only got to sit at one in a studio and ask some questions up to this point. Can't wait!

5 months from order confirmation for GT is how my SA phrased it in the upgrade solicitation email (I have a Touring reservation).
 
I think the air conditioned tent is to allow Lucid to install parts that were not available during the production cycle or failed final inspection coming off the line. They need this area to eliminate returning cars to the line or simply creating a log jam during the normal production cycle. I am sure they are doing everything possible to keep from shipping problem cars to service centers where resources are limited. Air conditioned area is critical to doing quality work in Arizona this time of year.

have you thought about how/what youre going to do to protect and clean the santa cruz mats? i REALLY want santa cruz, but the maintenance effort is really making me have 2nd thoughts. looking for suggestions, thanks!
