3.0 on Air

Thanks @borski, but can you explain the difference in what a soft reset does versus the hard reset. Before the update what did the mile, , pedal do? Was it soft or hard?

I love this update. It’s so nice!

But is there an easy way to listen to Spotify? I see it listed under applications but not under the music icon? Have I finally lost my ability to use a computer?!?

Got my upgrade last night on my 2025 AT that I have owned for a week and a half. I guess it’s good news that I get to start my learning curve all over again before I developed any muscle memory.

Had to move the car this am to get something out of the trunk. Cameras are much more crisp.

No issues with the download - tapped into my mesh WiFi and I swear it was done in under 30 min.

Gonna be a fun week figuring this all out so I can get my spouse up to speed 😂

Hit the “source” button as I call it. It will open up to all audio sources.

I have 2023 AT with CCV2. loving it as of now few questions
1) Did they enable multiple mobile app users to access to car via mobile key? The reason is the current app uses same users and mobile key is getting confused a lot setting user profile in car
2) Any way to reconfigure the Adjustment buttons to get the Close mirror button to main screen from pull down menu?

update is great. i haven't had a chance to take it on a drive though but played around with it the other day. i wish they added more colors to the ambient light (not sure if it's a hardware limitation) and ported the sanctuary mode to Air.

Rebooted and no change in behavior. To be clear, I'm attaching a pic of the nav. This is the smaller, search window that I'm trying to get rid of. Is tapping on the screen working for everyone else to make this disappear?

Also, still getting a prompt to update the software (to the same 2.11 version). Will do that when I get home. Don't want to risk it at work.
Ok you need to re center and then not touch the screen for like 10 seconds and it goes to full screen but you need to be in active navigation for the full screen to happen. Everytime it's in active navigation, I've had it go full screen on the bottom...

Updated mine yesterday, had a nice hour or so driving around to get the feel of it. Props to Lucid for a solid rollout. I have minor gripes but no show-stopping bugs.

The split functionality between the glass cockpit and pilot panel is killer. So happy to have this functionality now!

I'm not sure if it's a placebo yet, but I think door unlocking may have improved on my car. The handles seem to respond quicker now; when I press them they're out before my mirrors have even started unfolding.

The new "Lucid Vibes" color schemes are nice, although I'd still rather just have a color wheel I can choose from.

The car being rendered on the pilot panel now matches the beautiful Zenith Red of my car. That was always a minor irritation for me, really cool to see this improvement.

On the negative side, I seem to be affected by the pilot panel bug where it chooses to deploy on its own after being retracted for a few minutes. I reached out to support, hoping for a quick .1 rev.

Also not a fan of the dynamically updating map on the glass cockpit home screen. I personally find it distracting, especially at dusk when the car can't quite decide between light and dark mode. Maybe there's some customization to the cards element I haven't discovered yet.

If only they could allow us to save our drive mode rather than it defaulting to smooth every time you get it.

You can thank the EPA for this; cars are awarded their EPA efficiency numbers based on the default drive mode. I'd encourage you to express your displeasure with this regulation to your federal representative.

Logo reset was soft, brake/mic/x was hard

Still same app user but the car has always had you link a mobile key to a profile, so it shouldn’t get confused.

Nope.

Minor detail but one that I appreciated so sharing..notice the wheels of your car on the pilot panel when you're in Park vs when you put the car in drive 😊...nice right?

Except I can save this setting on both my Teslas.

Indeed: https://www.reuters.com/business/au...lators-tighten-vehicle-test-rules-2024-01-09/
The new rules require automakers to test electric vehicles (EVs) for driving range and fuel efficiency in their "default" driving mode - the one the car uses when a driver first turns it on. Many modern vehicles including Teslas have an array of driving modes that allow for tuning the vehicle to maximize either efficiency or power.
If a car doesn't have a default or standard driving mode, then the EPA requires an automaker to test the vehicle in its best-case and worst-case modes for efficiency and average the results, according to an EPA letter to automakers in July 2022, describing test rule changes that take effect for 2024 models. Telsa does not specify a model year in the marketing pages on its website that list estimated ranges for its models.
Tesla offers driving modes ranging from "Chill" mode for efficiency and better range to "Drag Strip Mode" in higher performance models to boost acceleration, according to 2023 Tesla owners' manuals posted online.
Under "tips to maximize range" in its Model Y owner's manual, Tesla advises drivers to "consider using Chill Mode.”
Telsa did not respond to requests for comment on the range-estimate reductions, the new EPA rule or whether it has previously used Chill Mode, or any efficiency-geared setting, during its testing to determine driving range.

So Tesla has decided to adjust their EPA ratings downward instead of having a default mode. Just a different compromise, but the law remains the same.

Ooops! Added the pics but not the text! Loving the OTA, but CarPlay does not display any artwork? Spotify at least has a list of stations… or am I missing something?
