Update regarding Phone as a Key availability for Gravity owners

Maybe that’s the distinction. Hands-on versus hands-free city. I listened to the presentation and I think you’re right. I vaguely remember hearing that.
Yeah I guess it doesn't matter in either case. I'd be surprised if they could deliver hands on by Q2 2027 if they couldn't even do PAAK, which is FAR simpler, this year.

Completely unrelated. ADAS is a separate team.

The most disappointing thing about this isn't the delay, it's that at the several owner events I've been to this year Lucid employees have been telling people that PaaK is "pretty much done and ready to go" and "just waiting for validation from Apple". So rehearsed that it obviously sounded like a company line, especially given that I have a very, very hard time believing Apple was the holdup with it.
Sike!

Better to get it correct then roll out a glitchy Phone key.
Let's just hope it's correct even with the latest delay.

Time will tell. I'm hoping PAAK doesn't use the same system that's still causing my fob unlock delays.

Rumor is that V2H and PAAK will be delivered at the same time 😂

Lordy, so disappointing. (and add Camp Mode to the list of things marketed to me that still don't exist 1/3rd of the way through my lease.)

Lucid is chipping away at any fanboy love that is left...

We know many Lucid Gravity owners have been waiting for Phone as a Key. The feature is now targeted for release in Q1 2027, allowing us the time needed to ensure it delivers the reliability and experience our customers expect. We apologize for the delay and appreciate our customers’ continued patience.
Does this cover both apple and android implementations?
I know the latest ios release is often referenced but what about us with android os?

Plus the ones they no longer mention... AR HUD, Traffic light detection, etc

We've been hearing for years now that buyers should make the decision based upon what features are currently available, which is a good recommendation.
However, on the opposite side, I wish car manufacturers would not advertise features unless they are imminent. That'd be truly truth in advertisement.

I wonder what else we'll be getting this year. Below is the list of outstanding Gravity features that Lucid promised by EOY in March.

• Lucid AI Assistant
• V2H Energy Back-up
• Smart Home Charging
• Enhanced Auto Park In/Out
• Video Streaming
• Hands-Free Highway and City Driving
• Digital Key
and Camp Mode!!!

Yeah, this trend of delivering software & apps that are only 90% completed and letting the customers beta-test the final 10% to get it across the finish line is kinda' bs to me. (In this case, a car's software...)

There are certainly degrees to "promising features coming soon" that aren't ready yet...but I don't remember hearing on any of the Gravity software tours I watched saying "it will be a year and a half before you'll actually get these."

The criminal part is that Lucid continues to sell “AR HUD” on new cars with what appears to be no plan to ever deliver it to customers.
Further support to the notion that skipping the "Tech" pkg was a good decision...no unmet expectations, false hope waiting for a carrot,
and best of all: No distracting windshield reflection!

Yeah I was regretting not waiting until a car with tech package became available but feeling better about my decision with every day that passes lol

Extremely sad and disappointed with the entire lucid software team. They have a good / solid vehicle but when it comes to technology, software and providing great features to the customers they are lacking significantly.

It’s year 2026 and PAAK supposed to be a standard feature now pushing it to next quarter makes me believe that LUCID still don’t know how to manage their team and prioritize to their customers feedback.

Clearly they need another Software team shuffle. New CEO needs step up his game else this company is going downhill and he should get no raise and bonus.

In case you hadn't noticed this is pretty much how software is shipped these days to the consumers, get the software out the door mostly working and we'll fix any problems post release (there are exceptions but they are few and far between and usually lean towards the financial community)

I remember when cisco internally refused to use the latest releases of their software (or anywhere close to the latest release). Then a new CIO came in and decreed that cisco IT needed to "eat their own dog food" and be within one or two releases of current.
