We know many Lucid Gravity owners have been waiting for Phone as a Key. The feature is now targeted for release in Q1 2027, allowing us the time needed to ensure it delivers the reliability and experience our customers expect. We apologize for the delay and appreciate our customers’ continued patience.

Appreciate the update!

We hope Lucid meets the established deadline in future, as Tesla and Rivian are exceeding delivery estimates while Lucid continues to lag; such delays do not strengthen its position.
With above i think HandsFree City and other things are also getting delayed?

Disappointing to say the least......

I wonder what else we'll be getting this year. Below is the list of outstanding Gravity features that Lucid promised by EOY in March.

• Lucid AI Assistant
• V2H Energy Back-up
• Smart Home Charging
• Enhanced Auto Park In/Out
• Video Streaming
• Hands-Free Highway and City Driving
• Digital Key

A target can be moving, so Lucid may surprise us with an early release, or ... a delay.
The nice thing is the communication.
Much appreciated and this is the way to invigorate the Lucid enthusiast base.
Thanks @marqie .

My prediction is none of them, but hopefully I end up being proven wrong

While I generally agree, Lucid has a long history of consistently over promising and under delivering. I'm not sure if they've ever delivered something earlier than anticipated.

Obviously easier said than done, but they should really try to make externally communicated dates be outside dates rather than internal targets. This is a common business practice and would make for happier customers.

Another missed timeline, which is not good given the optics and financial situation. If the PAAK can’t be delivered in Q4, then I’m resetting what little expectation I had for Handsfree City Driving in Q4.

Meanwhile I’ve been without an OTA software update since May. My DE has been sitting outside at the Roswell, GA SC for 4 weeks burning up in the hot Atlanta sun waiting for a diagnosis. My blood is boiling. They’ve lost 3 of their 6 techs.

I will be listening intently to Silvio’s earnings call in early November for signs of hope.

All of my Tesla friends don’t think Lucid is going to make it. For the first time I’m seriously beginning to believe it. I love the car, but thank God I leased it.

You left off Halo Secure/Live View sentry monitoring.

No, that was always scheduled for 2027 along with vehicle-to-load, productivity apps and hands free city driving.

The most disappointing thing about this isn't the delay, it's that at the several owner events I've been to this year Lucid employees have been telling people that PaaK is "pretty much done and ready to go" and "just waiting for validation from Apple". So rehearsed that it obviously sounded like a company line, especially given that I have a very, very hard time believing Apple was the holdup with it.

Actually, they had “Hands-free Highway and City Driving” listed twice, both 2026 and 2027. I had to go back and look at the March investor presentation. Not sure the distinction. Probably a typo.

Yeah I think that's a typo. In the actual presentation they said hands free city wouldn't be coming until 2027, but hands on city would come in 2026.

My understanding is that it couldn’t happen without iOS 27, so in that sense, Apple was indeed the holdup.

It would appear that something else has happened since that has delayed it, and I agree the hold up now is likely not Apple.

But I wouldn’t assume they were lying; I’d assume they were telling the truth as they knew it at the time.

Maybe that’s the distinction. Hands-on versus hands-free city. I listened to the presentation and I think you’re right. I vaguely remember hearing that.

What's a little troubling is how much it's delayed to me. If it were some bugs or some minor things, then I would've hoped just Q4 2026 would be reasonable... but Q1 2027? Possibly until end of March? That much time delayed does that mean it is a really big significant issue, maybe need HW retrofits? Concerning to say the least, and hard to believe just a SW issue if they are delaying it two quarters.
