Software 3.6.5 Released

They've got a lot of updates (Air & Gravity) rolling out currently, hopefully everyone will get it either by its own update or in the next major update which should be in Q4.

Not for nothing, but I've noticed that I get these updates pushed to my GGT ~2 weeks after they're announced.

I can’t even remember how many times I’ve tried to roll up my windows only to have them be 90% up and then roll back down again. Or hitting the roll up button when they’re already closed and result in the window rolling down.
Isn't that ludicrous? Can you think of a car in the 90s with those problems?

I got the update recently and installed it. I had only noticed a weird window issue once, where I tried to close my window while the door was open, and it went back down. Otherwise, they were working fine. But if the fix eliminates the possibility of that minor inconvenience, I'm all for it.

When I did my test drive, the windows on that car, DEFINITELY had the issue. Took me several tries to get the driver's side window to close after opening it.

I think is one of those bugs that happens intermittently, which are often the hardest to track down. With any luck, this is the last we'll hear of this issue.

Odd that this releases for specific hardware configurations when it seems like majority of owners are experiencing window problems.
Lucid knows the frequency and at least one root cause, we don't - the forum is a problem amplifier. Zero window issues on my Gravity since new.

I had very similar issues on my 2020 Taycan. It happens. They couldn't fix mine, went thru two motor replacements and window replacements (in which I had to pay to re-do the tint) and it always came back. Eventually just got used to it unfortunately. Seems like Lucid has similar issues, but they figured out it's a software problem, not the hardware.

Window issue happened once for me. Got the update this past Tuesday.

Are there a lot of people who have not gotten it yet??

This is a limited release to a specific set of vehicles only. It does appear to be more heavily weighted to Touring's though. I have a Dream Edition and haven't had any issue with the windows so its certainly not happening to all vehicles.

Interesting, seems like they maybe updated window mechanisms which is causing issues.

Folks, Marqie already said it’s a limited rollout based on config, etc and they may expand as the learn more based on her posts yesterday here. They’re on it. As someone who has had my window stuck down twice, among several other window issues over the past 12+ months, it’s my experience that Lucid knows more than we do and they’ll fix as much as they can as fast as they can. And they watch the forum and have the feedback email.

Breathe deep and enjoy the champagne problem of owning/leasing a Gravity with certain issues. If you’re one of the folks who is like “I had no idea there were issues…” well, caveat emptor.

These seems like a separate, app-related issue, no?
Doesn't necessarily look like an app issue to me. If you think about the command flow, the app requests a Vent or Close action, that request goes through Lucid's backend to the vehicle, and the Gravity then has to interpret the command and execute it through the individual window controllers.

In this case, the vehicle clearly receives and acts on the command — three windows close correctly, while the fourth window instead moves farther down to about halfway. That would seem to point more toward how the command is being interpreted or executed on the vehicle side (or by the individual window-control module) than simply an app problem.
