Good Job Lucid dev team. For me, the audio improvement is amazing. Previously the audio sounded neutered and lacked the richness. Now the audio quality is close to what I would have expected from the start. I use Spotify and I’m loving it. A+++

I think the general timeline is in batches over 2-3 weeks. Even the limited sampling of people that use the LucidTracker.app site with the auto-sync enabled (111 Gravity) only 55% have received the update so far.

You might want to look closely at what special characters you use. The valid list for the web site are not the same as the car and the length of the string is not the same either.

So, is the password the car is looking for the same as the password to log into LucidMotors.com/portal?
At first, I thought it wanted a PIN, like the PIN to change profiles.

Got update notice late yesterday, updated over night. Had to turn Data sharing back on this am and then put in my password to verify. Everything seems to be working. Updated key fob.

so I tried to login to my account using my lucidmotors.com password, didn't work. changed the passport... didn't work. So now it's telling me to try again later. any one have a similar experience? The relogging into the car vs scanning a QR code or something on your phone seems... not well thought through for this update

Just got my update last night!
I put in the password on my primary profile (like others had mentioned, I had to switch to the primary "admin" profile to do so).
Looking forward to getting DDPro calibrated! Didn't finish calibrating on my 9 miles of highway driving this morning.

FINALLY got my update a bit before 9 PM last night and it took almost exactly 2 hours to install. Since it could be months before I need to drive at night, I went out with the purpose of trying out the new headlight behavior. First off, the lights did not default to bright so I set them manually. Driving Route 66 on the east side of the mountains from Albuquerque after 11 PM does not yield a bunch of oncoming traffic. In fact, I had the road all to myself. So I tried out Dream Drive. No joy, it needed to calibrate again.

That might all sound like a bust, but not so fast. I drove west on I-40 and kept trying Dream Drive. Finally, after the highway widened to three lanes, I pushed the button and the message said, "Hands Free Driving"! I kept my hands near, but it did the job without any glitches. I got back on Route 66 eastbound to return home and met up with a couple of cars. The lights did not work like the pictures suggested; a sharp gap in the light beam to protect the oncoming driver. Instead, I first noticed that nobody was flashing their lights at me. Then I noticed that the light on the left embankment was lower than on the right. After the oncoming car passed, I noticed the light smoothly move back up. Very impressive!

I tried engaging Hands Free on the two lane but, about 8 seconds after letting go of the steering wheel, I got the warning to take control of the car. I tried multiple times to no avail. So I went back up on the interstate and Hands Free worked just fine. Got off and it would not engage. It still worked as before this update; it would steer the car but still demand that I have my hands on the wheel, so no real loss on the two lane.

A couple of other observations: It seems that the music sounds even better, but that could just be my excitement. And I can now send a navigation destination to the car from my phone, a feature which worked when I took delivery of the car on Christmas Day but quit after a following update.

Overall, I'm very happy with the update.

All right, my mind is officially blown, for those of you who really can hear amazing Audio quality and appreciate it, which I understand is not everybody but for those of you who can appreciate what a mind blowing Audio experience is in a car, Lucid has accomplished close to a miracle with the 3.6 update. The audio quality is now officially mind blowing good. I use a variety of services, including serious, Apple Music and Tidal, I haven’t even driven my car yet since the update I got trapped, sitting in the garage, listening to music like I’ve never heard it in this gravity before, I have a
Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound System which was a $6000 option as I recall and to this date that was the best system I’ve ever heard in a car and did not think it could be equal or surpassed but at least for now the new Audio system in my gravity is at least a match, which is saying a lot, listen carefully. It’s amazing. I’m so excited by it thank you Lucid.

Make sure you’re driving it relatively straight and that there is another lane on both sides of you.

You need to drive on multi-lane freeway for hands free to calibrate. It will not calibrate on 2 lane highways.

I-10 by where I live is the widest freeway in US (maybe world) with 20-22 lanes if you include HOV and feeder roads. Only took about 10 minutes for me to calibrate once I got on freeway.

One suprise was that I thought it was only supposed to display 5 lanes on dash display. But it now displays 7 lanes - 2 HOV lanes plus 5 main lanes.

Yup. Try finding a 3-lane highway in New Mexico that's long enough as specified in the manual, not heavily occupied, and in daylight! When I initially calibrated the system I drove through heavy traffic (for ABQ) and road construction. Last night it was pitch dark. But it worked!

Hands free isn’t available on all highways. I suspect it’s similar to GM Super Cruise, Ford BlueCruise, etc., where it’s limited to mapped highways.

I’m sure we’ll see more advancements coming to get us closer to Tesla FSD, but safer with all the additional sensors.

Noticeably for me it disengages when going through construction zones. I have an area on the freeway on a route I've taken every day for the last 6 days where someone crashed into the jersey barrier in the middle of the freeway. They put up cones around that barrier as well as the one in front and behind it and an orange under construction sign in the middle of it all. Every time I go past it the car detects it as a construction zone (I assume the cameras see the orange sign) and disables hands free (with no warning) but only after I've already passed it. I know now to have my hands on the wheel for

I'm enjoying the hands free but it definitely has a few instances where it just decides to disable without a warning beforehand. It just goes from working to off and even disabled all ADAS once and started regen braking on the freeway.

You definitely have to be paying attention and be ready to take over at any time.

I have had this happen a couple times at same spot like you (did not see any construction though). The good news is that when system stops hands free and you get the “Take control warning”, in most cases, it just switches to older “Hands On” Drive Assist, so it is not going to run into car in front of you or run off freeway suddenly, it is just a little uncertain and wants you in more control. In my few cases, it has re-engaged within 10-20 seconds.
