Speaking of which, post 3.6, is it normal now for the lights to turn on when I approach the Gravity with just my phone? I haven't sat inside, or even unlocked the car yet, since the I installed the update two nights ago. Nor have I re-paired the Gravity to my mobile phone.

The car is on a lease. I restrict myself to 200 miles a week, and my 200 miles were up on Tuesday night. I'm going to wait until tomorrow (Monday), to drive the Gravity post update.

Yeah, that’s not new. The Air has done this since the beginning too.

I suspect what might be happening is your key is finally getting recognized regularly, where it might not have been before :p

Overall, it's a very smart adaptive cruise control with lane changing capability, no more, no less. Please be very carefull with it!
Adaptive beams are constantly doing the 'adaptive' pixel dance, it seems, and they're turning on a tad early imho, not sure if luminousity changed much

On that phantom braking, did the car read an exit speed limit sign? Mine will sometimes do that when the cruise control is set to the posted speed mode (in settings). When the car slows for no apparent reason, quickly press the center of the left (black) button and the speed change will stop there. You can then reset it manually or wait a bit and it will resume speed. That was so annoying to me that, in settings, I have the cruise control lock on at the current speed when I press the button.

It’s like Mad Max out here, and I grew up driving in NYC! NYC had aggressive, but good drivers who at least mostly knew what they were doing.

I swear Florida just intentionally does the opposite of whatever the DMV says lol. It’s like every day is Opposite Day. Maybe that’s the reason everything @hmp10 touches finds ways to break 😂

It’s a beautiful state. I’ll visit again. I’ll just have to remember to bring my push bar 😂

Drove with hands free yesterday and had to manually take over several times. Driving in CA on the 60 West in San Gabriel Valley, the road lines aren’t very clear during sunset. The car would start to drift towards the other lane, so I had to manually take over several times.

I’ve had to take over at times, as well. One of the limitations today is that DDPro needs clear lane lines, so this is not unexpected. DDPro cannot handle all road conditions - yet. I’m hopeful that we’ll see more capabilities in future updates.

Nope, I was in the left lane on one occasion, passing trucks, and in the middle lane during other phantom breaking situations, with exit nowhere in sight. It just says "Take control of the vehicle" and starts slowing down. I think nearby trucks spooked the new hands free system. But thanks for the advice, at least I will be aware of that behavior near exits.
The scariest HFD disangagment happened when truck behind me started to move in my lane right behind me (like 10 ft) , HFD started to disengage and slowing down with that *** truck right behind me... Gotta be real watchful with this one

Just turn off the automatic speed change.

It’s not that type of system, like FSD. It won’t take exits or get the car ready to take exits. This is just a highway ADAS. It’ll keep going till the highway ends!

experienced this for myself yesterday as I finally got the update. it's kinda weird that one system doesn't inform the other of what it's doing. :confused:

the car seemed to be almost gleeful about wanting to shift to the "passing lane" when our exit was fast approaching.

Mine still pauses anytime I turn on my androids Bluetooth that starts Android Auto. Does Lucid even know this is a problem. It does cause me to use the native nav more though

That’s not its intended function right now. That is L2++ which is planned to come to Gravity late this year or early next year. DD Pro is intended right now to be a highway type of ADAS with no routing. Just keep you on the road and your lane mostly. It’s getting better and will get there to an FSD type of capability eventually.

It's up to you to take control of the car when nearing your exit.

That is correct with the ticket and police notices is.
