At this point in time, the least Lucid could do is refund everyone who got the HUD the $3,200 and treat it as a lesson learned for overpromising and underdelivering. They marketed this thing so heavily and think it's fair and reasonable to make people wait 12,18,24 months for something that should be delivered on day one. I'll give automakers some grace period on evolving ADAS features but a HUD? C'mon!Good news for you folks. Looks like Lucid is actually taking steps to fix the HUD.

If they were having so many issues with it then they should've just done the same thing as what they did with the Lunar Titanium and pulled it from the model when they were having all the shortage issues with it in the first place. They had no issue giving people a $5000 credit for the LT cancellation so it shouldn't be a big deal to give people $3200 back.
