Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for Gravity *finally* rolling out

Spoke to CS, who have been in contact with their OTA team regarding v3.5 rollout for me. I was informed it's being pushed only to vehicles of their testers today, not general public yet. I was given to understand if their testers don't find any major defects with it we should expect it pushed to our vehicles within the next couple of weeks.

None of the OTA rollouts have taken a couple of weeks. Maybe there are a couple of stragglers each time, but it feels like each OTA has been fully rolled it in about 10 days or so. So yes, that’s technically two/couple, but not super long.

Caveat - 100% based on my forum experience and folks here and lucidtracker.app. @HC_79 did an awesome job with that, so sign up folks!!!

Regardless of how long it takes, we know it’s actually “weeks” away at worst. I am still super excited.

As anyone in software knows, the best time to roll out major new functionality to end customers is on a Friday afternoon! Ensures that there will be no escalations of known issues over the weekend...

Sorry, but there’s really no way they know that as they said they were giving it to testers/employees or whatever first and they haven’t had much time for feedback. 3/17 may be the target date, but as with everything, circumstances change.

No OTA has hit every Gravity in one day based just on this forum, so even if it does stay 3/17, it won’t be to all Gravity unless they’re also changing their rollout approach - which would be odd as they’ve been doing OTAs on a phased basis for years.
