Ignoring the "sky is falling" narrative, I've driven over 300 miles using Drive Assist very heavily on 3.4.4 and have not experienced what this person is saying. In fact, Its required very little intervention on my part and has been quite smooth and responsive. 3.4.1 and 3.4.4 has also gotten much better at handling curves
 
Damn I just ordered a 80A charger and its being installed tomorrow.... Now I'm nervous it won't work.

Oh wait...... It seems the sky isn't falling. Nothing to see here people! I do hope they actually contacted Lucid with time stamps for them to look into it at least vs just coming online to say how dangerous it is and demanding old software back.

I'm not positive on "It canceled the DDP and said [who or what said] ... but after reinstating [who/what reinstated what]"...

The car or the driver canceled and what does "reinstating" mean? 100% on the sky is falling! Be aware of making claims about safety!

Sounds like DDP cut out with a 'take over' message because it thought it was unavailable, and then it came back after they tried to start it up again. I've seen it happen once or twice, but rarely, and I haven't seen it since this update. That makes me suspect it is unrelated to the update.
 
Installing now. Perhaps roll out for the small update will be faster than 3.4.1

It's not it won't work, but that the issue people were having is that it throttled down from 19kW (80A) after a while. So it was not charging at full rate.

There are a handful of people who can charge at 80 A continuously with their gravity. Myself and a few others unfortunately are having issues with it holding the 80 amp charge longer than 15-30 minutes prior to be throttled down. Hopefully you're one of the lucky ones. Please let us know!
 
Prior to 3.4.1, my car would initially charge at 19kW for 15-30 minutes then drop down to 11kW. However, post 3.4.1, the car throttles down even lower now to only 7kW.

Lucid really owes all of us Lucid 80A charger owners a refund because of their false advertising.

So how is it false advertising if there are some owners who are able to charge at 80A continually?

Nick said it was due for a mid-March release which wouldn’t surprise me if it starts rolling out just before the investors day. It can then be used as a talking point on the day as one of the “wins”.

I haven't heard of anyone who has been able to charge continuously at 80A. Also slower charging speeds have also been affected.

The next major update with CarPlay and Android Auto won't have PaaK, that's coming later per Nick yesterday:

They replaced my main power box (basically the wunderbox) and the last two nights the car has throttled down after 15 or 30 minutes but it's holding at around 50 amps on average...It took me providing a detailed spreadsheet and having discussions with their service shop supervisor who worked with an engineer to get them to agree that there was an issue... It's not 100% fixed, but it's a hell of a lot better than it was after 3.4.1 ruined it... Not sure how much 3.4.4 will help her hurt, but I at least want to get it updated when it's my turn and find out...
