This. Most people do not care about efficiency and specially if new to EVs, how charging speeds work. The offroady look seems to be doing well (everyone has an offroad trim nowadays). If under $60k, over 300 miles of range and under 30 minutes to charge, the R2 will sound great to most and will likely attract some traditional ICE buyers. I also do expect it to be more efficiency the R1.Well, other than charging speed, you just described the last 25 years of the biggest selling vehicles in the US, so maybe Rivian is on to something...
Only time will tell.
Lucid should really look into delivering the Gravity X concept they unveiled last year, even if just a trim. That could bite at the G-Wagon and Land Rover crowd, and Rivian, of course, while offering more range and space than traditionally found in this space.
