We had our friends in the vehicle while driving around Quebec, so having had weight on the seat and seat position are definitely contributory. I suspect this relates to the incredibly complex folding mechanism and where the different bits of upholstery end up each time, so will be difficult to diagnose properly.

Oh, we also confirmed that the 3rd row vents do work quite well, and just require the 3rd row being occupied! That's a relief from a service perspective, but I hope there is an override. When we have dogs we have very large dogs, and they sit on beds in the cargo area. I would like to have the vents working back there even with the 3rd row folded.

any solution for that second row squeaking? I have a squeak and is crazy when nobody's sitting in the 2nd row middle seat or the one right behind the driver. Otherwise it's squeak squeak squeak. I notice it does it when I move the 2nd row middle and/or the one behind the driver move with my own hands also

We just went in for service on our list of (minor except for the recent slider and DriveDrive) issues, and this was on it for review. Around the city and with a child seat in everything bounces so we haven't really noticed it -- this was really a "why is there squeaking on a long flat road trip" issue. Once we get it back (I hope) we're driving MA->FL and back, so I will definitely have data to report.

My service center applied a fix for this and the car is now as silent as a tomb. I recommend asking your service center about it.
 
I plan to purchase in 1Q’26 after returning from attending the Olympics. While I’d prefer to take advantage of any onsite discounts might be available at the time, I’m considering placing a new order with the hope these hardware issues are addressed on a new build (steering wheel, seat, etc. etc.).

Just took delivery yesterday. Mine is doing this too. PITA to have to manually change it to CREEP every time I get in the car (I hate HOLD).

Is this normal, or just a bug in some cars?

Also the driver-side mirror won't tilt down in reverse. Passenger-side does tho.

SXM streaming sure skips a lot. Maybe every 3rd song or so.

Directing air to the dash for defrost makes an annoying whistling sound. Then I can't get it to stop by just redirecting the flow. Gotta turn climate off entirely then back on to get it to stop.

I have 3.3.20.

I’ve had my car in twice to fix the squeak and it’s now got to go back for a 3rd time to address. 1st visit they said they fixed it and within 5 mins of leaving it was back. 2nd time they couldn’t reproduce so didn’t do anything so now will be booking it back in January sometime.

Some days I want to rip the 2nd row out and throw the whole thing on the street! Nothing irks me more than squeaks and rattles.

To be fair, this is how the vast majority of other manufactures do the rearview mirror tilt. Yes, I know Tesla does both but that is not the norm.

Really? Every car I’ve had for the last 30+ years has had mirror tilt on both sides and was individually programmable. Of course, I’ve only drive premium cars😏

I wasn't sure if he was joking or not, but I just found it in the owners manual. Surprisingly, it *is* just the right-side mirror that tilts. 😯

Reverse Tilt Mirrors
The passenger side mirror can be
programmed to automatically tilt down
when you shift to reverse. This can assist
to give you better visibility of the curb
when you are parking

Mostly. A few times I did get the "lost cell signal" message. Other times it just went quiet for a few seconds then skipped ahead to the next track with no such message. I don't think I accidentally hit the right steering wheel pad, but I'll have to pay more attention next time.

That's the problem... it always goes to HOLD next time I get in the car. It won't stay on CREEP.

That's not a problem if you want HOLD, but it is if you want CREEP. Surely it's *supposed* to save to the profile, or at worst, leave it the way it was last set.

it the same on my wife's Taycan: only the passenger side rearview tilts so you can see the curb when you parallel park...who cares about seeing down on the driver side?

For regular back-in parking (not parallel), it would be useful to see the painted lines on both sides, or the left-side curb if backing into the end spot. Rear cameras are nice, but they tent to distort the sides/corners, whereas a regular mirror can be more trustworthy.

I wondered if the mirror tilt may flip to the left side if put into R with the left turn signal on, but I just tried that in the car and it doesn't.
