Only seen this when car charged to nearly 100% (like 98% or above).
 
Anyone else hear a faint, high pitched whine? It’s not the motors, it’s most noticeable just sitting in the car when it’s not moving or driving slowly. I tried turning off HVAC, and rebooting, but it’s still there. 🤔
Otherwise, my first day with the gravity has been nearly flawless. Agree with others the HUD is not perfect and causes some visual weirdness like I’ve got the wrong glasses on.

Yes. Not like the air which would come and go. This seems more persistent.

I think someone made a post that it’s electrical in nature and actually comes from underneath the window controls in the door. I forget who it was but they had made little thin foam inserts you could fold in half and insert into the gap that exists between the window control switches and the arm rest and that totally cured the high pitched whine thing. I don’t hear it but also have bad tinnitus.

I previously mistakenly reported it was just the drivers side rear that did not present. After trying this several times I walked away from the car, let it self lock and when I approached again all four handles presented.
So I think whomever suggested this was a profile issue where the different profile only unlocked the drivers door was spot on.

Could certainly see where some folks would WANT the car to do that for security.

It's been cold-ish (about 50F, give or take 5-10 degrees) when I get in the car in the morning. If I have the heat set at something comfy, like 74, it just blows cold. Not super cold, but feels like ambient temp at best, and for a while. I don't know if I've hung in long enough and patiently enough to see if it ever warms up, but I have to jack it over 80 for it to finally get warm. Then it gets too warm, so I turn it back down to the 70s, and it feels like it's blowing cold again.

Admittedly I haven't done a scientific study to describe the behavior to a T, but it's just a little wonky. In light of some of the other pieces of the software not seeming to know where the hardware is (think windows, seat positions, etc), I'm wondering if the thermostat is performing similarly - maybe sending a bad signal to the HVAC system, or the HVAC system not understanding the signal it's being sent.

Minor bug in the grand scheme of things, but I feel like I'm fiddling with something a little unpredictable to get comfortable. Maybe tomorrow morning I will try preconditioning the interior for a while, before I get in, and observe what happens.

I get intermittent heating in my Model 3 as well, also needs cranking up when it happens.
 
I think passive entry defaults to open drive door only, it’s a setting, so if you were to switch profiles it might just default to that, but you can just change it in the settings.
 
I noticed creep vs hold does not carry over between starts. Is that everyone's else experience? Mine defaults to hold.

This worked for me ~60% of the time on my old phone. Then I upgraded my phone from iphone 13 to iphone 17.
Now I don't even see the "Live View" option anywhere in the Lucid app. What gives?

The Lucid app works fine in my new phone. I can lock/unlock the car and it shows the correct charging status.

Mine works fine in garage at home… got the address right and showed the live cams, Latest iOS app v2.10 and 3.3.5. Super cool that FOB self updating is in the new app. No need to bother service dept to update FOB…
 
Live view working for me today for first time. Maybe after the app update?

Regarding creep vs hold - I prefer hold and it's always kept on hold mode on all new drives.


My current issues after delivery this week:
1. Frunk does the double open (seems to be an easy fix at first service)
2. HUD blurry and causes eye strain (really my main annoyance)
3. Minor 2nd row seat squeak (Where are we on the solution for this?)
4. Terrible sounding motors to move 2nd row up for 3rd row access. We will almost never use 3rd row while we have kids in car seats but they really sound like metal-griding garbage.
5. Minor panel gap issues.
6. One of the 3rd row seats won't unlatch in order to fold into sub trunk, was told will need to be replaced.


Overall - 9.5/10 early experience. LOVE this car.

Can’t remember if you need to delete the app and reinstall or simply log out and back in. Whatever it is, that should fix the issue. I had this happen also when I switched phones.
 
Live View - Solved

I finally called Lucid customer service, who was quite helpful. Here’s what he said: Live View only works on AT&T LTE, not WiFi. He could see that my AT&T signal was very weak in my garage, even though the Lucid App could see the car in park mode. The hypothesis was there is not enough bandwidth with weak signal. So, I moved the car into the street and turned off WiFi, locked the car, and presto Live View works.

Now, if I could only figure out why I’m not seeing Tow Mode or Attachments in the Dream Drive menu. He’s looking into that.

Only working on the cell connection is a pretty big (and dumb) restriction. Hopefully something they change as it matures.

Search my threads for how I muted that in the Air, it could be same in the Gravity. Turn the lights off and on and if the switch buzz stops and starts with the lights, then you have the same problem the Air does. Same fix should work. Its like coil-whine.
