16 months in and no big issues. Minor ones handled by service. I'll know soon whether the frunk will work this winter. If not I'll cope.
 
We had two “reboot the fob” issues prior to 3.3.5 and the fob update, but nothing since then.

The car… just works. Is the software perfect? No. But neither is any car’s I’ve ever been in.

I guess my biggest issue today is that Halo Secure is inconsistent? lol

They’re progressing rapidly, and my wife has absolutely loved it as her DD.

It’s the best SUV I’ve ever driven.
 
I own a 2023 Pure AWD and have 25,000 miles on it. Very happy and none of the software glitches many are reporting. I did replace one OEM tire due to a bubble in the sidewall. Two others were victims of a deep pothole. The car is heavy but I do wish that the wheels and tires were even stronger than they are. I get the advertised range but I'm a steady driver. Occasionally, in very hot weather, I will get spurious failures of one or more exterior sensors but they usually resolve in a matter of a minute or so. Maintenance and operational cost is low and the car is a solid and stable ride.
 
Hmm...I think I realized why positive reviews don't always happen. I'm not overly superstitious but no way am I going to state here I have a perfect car and have no issues! lol The next day it'd be guaranteed that the car wouldn't start, doors wouldn't open, frunk pops open, etc. Haha.

That said, I'm about 4 days in to ownership and so far, I'm loving it. Hopefully some of these early issues are being taken care of. Maybe I should be glad I was delayed a couple months and missed all of the fob-mania.
 
Delivered on Oct 4th. I have had no major issues at all. Just very infrequent software - and small glitches at that. Everything just works. I am running 3.3.9 right now and I will deal sometimes with my fob going to sleep in my pocket. I am kind of a taxi on weekend for the wife to run her around while her Subaru with Blizzaks is sitting in garage, awaiting the imminent snowfall. Therefore, I tend to sit in the car with the dogs in 'Park'. She comes back to car and fob is asleep. I am sure it was funny the first few times as I am grabbing the right side pocket and shaking it. Absolutely no regrets - my car's name is the 'Green Goblin' - it is a transformer as it does everything extremely well in all the roles demanded.
 
Coming up on two years and 20k miles on my 2023 Air Pure AWD, and it has been essentially trouble-free. I think one major advantage I have is that my car was both manufactured and delivered in 11/23, so many of the car's developmental growing pains had already been addressed in the manufacturing process, plus the car did not 'cook' in the Arizona sun for months before delivery.

While I am very happy from the hardware and reliability standpoints, I am pretty much neutral as far as software goes, although that is far more due to missed promises than glitchy software. I plan on keeping the car indefinitely, so I am no doubt far more patient waiting for promised features that should have arrived long ago. For example, I'm quite sympathetic with people who leased a car for 36 months and ended their lease without ever experiencing features that they legitimately expected. That patience would quickly change to anger if, at some point, Lucid decides to walk away from further development of promised features on older models, although I trust Emad Diala not to allow that.

As for the proliferation of negative threads... I left the forum for several months over what I am about to say, and may end up doing so again. I lay a lot of the blame at the feet of a very select few moderators who don't just moderate, but rather leap into an incessant defense of the brand, and what seems to me to be an effort to shut down the dialogue. I'm not saying that these negative threads are always reasonable or legitimate, but the resulting back an forth keeps them front and center for far longer than they otherwise would be. That's just my two cents on the subject, and I hope to not be drawn into a debate about it.

Thank you for your perspective.

With you as a "not so early adopter", I'm hoping future buyers meeting your description will have the similar feedback. The difference being their software experience will be less glitchy.

The missed promises with a lease seems to be one of the risks with that financial decision. For me as a buyer, those promises didn't influence my decision much. The sw updates and screen upgrade offered to Air buyers, has me hopeful.
 
Have owned a ‘22 AGT since Dec 22. Only issues have been a few early problems with the door handles and otherwise nothing of significance. I generally use CarPlay so cant comment much on the Lucid provided systems. Simply happy with the car and look forward to buying another someday. Have to say I generally avoid too much forum as the occasional negatively messes with my head. And I’d rather just drive it.
 
I appreciate this thread. I'm sure I'm one of many on the sidelines waiting to pull the trigger on the Gravity and lingering here to see how current owners are feeling about it. With all the negative threads, I'm always tempted to look elsewhere and not subject myself to the same problems. Hearing some positive in the mix is more encouraging. The Gravity is expensive, so any reassurance prospective buyers can get that they won't regret their purchases is surely welcomed.
 
I have my Air touring since may 2025 and did more then 15000km since then and I couldn't be happier. In September we did a roadtrip from Switzerland to Sicily with 4 adults in the car and I really can't imagine a better vehicle for such a roadtrip. So much space! Such a high comfort! So efficient even at highway speed!

I have one minor issue with AirPlay sometimes hanging but no biggie since the sound quality is anyway better with Tidal.

I sold my X yesterday. Got my Gravity GT end of September. Couldn't be happier and indeed, there is no other car out there, that rides as well, is appointed as well, and simply feels good on the road.

The car itself, no. It rides so hard, so stiff, and the road and wind noise was always bad. But, the software is awesome. The visuals of the car and its surroundings on the dash are fantastic and I used that constantly to see what was around me. The depth of the conveniences embedded in the software I now miss. However, I truly believe Lucid will catch up. Tesla blazed a trail with no other cars software to study. Lucid on the other hand can copy every darn feature of Tesla’s and put it on our cars. They just have to have the will and throw the resources into the best software engineers they can find or bring over from Tesla.
