Gravity 3.3.8 Released

The 3.3.8 has also apparently fixed my app for vehicle offline issue as well. So whenever/if ever they put it back out, that fix appears to be in there too.

Fudge!!! Fob issue again this morning. I have new iOS version but not 3.3.8 on car. Connected fob to app last night just to confirm I had last update and I did.

Since that time, I had a fob issue last night and now this morning. I walked up to car this morning, it opened, got in, and then got “key not detected” multiple times so had to start it with the key card. Fob would not start it.

Could be coincidence, but ever since I simply connected fob to app to check for update, I’ve had this same “key not detected” issue in car three times and now fob is acting like it did before the update. I guess I will try a fob battery to reset. Ugh.

Just when I thought fob issue was gone…

Ugh, that sucks. I am now a little less likely to tempt fate with my own fob check. My gravity is still functioning pretty well so I'm going to let some of this shake out a bit before I mess with (relative) success.

My software bugs are mostly still related to:

- False alerts (high beam assist not functioning, sensors blocked) but even these have been rarer lately - I may not even have had one yesterday.
- Vibes/lighting always reverts to Zen (I think it's Zen)
- HVAC oddness (fan and cooling levels a little weird)
- Occasional little glitches (I lost Fast Forward on my audio the other day; I had to change to a new playlist on Tidal to get it back)
- I have had one episode of Car Offline in the app
- I had trouble getting one of the 2nd row seats to fold flat yesterday - could have been operator error. When I moved the passenger seat forward it let me do it.

But other than that, my Gravity is remarkably stable compared to other experiences I have heard about. My key fob required one re-set the day after I got it but since then it has been flawless. There were a lot of connectivity issues at delivery but those haven't come back save the one car not online incident while I was at work the other day. I got the rear steer not available when I was trying to drive out of the delivery bay but that one hasn't come back either.

So for now, I'm happy with whatever fob firmware rev I am on and the 3.3.5 (I think - since my Lucid app shows 3.3.2) car revision.

That's great to hear that it fixed the offline issue! I haven't driven since I updated the app yet, so hopefully tomorrow when I do, it'll be resolved for me too.
Well... the fix didn't last long. Backed out of my garage at 6:59a to start my commute to work. Upon arrival, I plugged in and headed upstairs to my office. A quick check of the app to set charge limit showed the car offline again 🤬 The last time 'online' was apparently in my garage before backing out and away from my home WiFi signal.

Starting to think yesterday's fix was just a coincidence. Odd that I'd been "offline" for so long, then had a single day of daylight yesterday (vehicle being "online" and very responsive to the mobile app), only to have it revert to the offline behavior again today. Absolutely frustrating. Guess I'm headed to service anyway 🫤

I checked both fobs via the app same as you, also do not have 3.3.8 same as you, and my fobs work flawlessly. 🤷‍♂️. Maybe you need an actual new fob battery?

my Air keeps telling me to remember to take my key with me, but i don't use the key.
In the Gravity, I think that reminder is just part of what happens when you park and open the door - no matter how you started the car…it does it to me when I start with key card.

I am trying a fob battery reset and will see how that goes…
I have not seen the “key not detected” message since installing 3.3.5. I’m on 3.3.8 now and only updated the fob firmware yesterday via the mobile app but pre and post fob update, no messages about it on both versions

My experience is same as Bunnylebowski’s. My fob still works after checking its software version last might and am still on 3.3.5

From what I understand, 3.3.8 is halted and will probably be released with more changes as a newer version. I wouldn't expect another update this week, as it takes time to test and validate.

So I just had it happen again. Walked up to car, nothing. Used fob button to open, but got key not detected when I sat down. Very strange BUT I think I have one part identified.

Creature comfort - when this is on, since last night, 100% of the time I come back to car, nothing happens and I have to use fob button to open and get key bc are not detected. Sometimes it DOES then detect fob when I shake it, sometimes I need to use my keycard. All of this happened after app update AND making sure fob was up to date through app. Could be coincidence.

When Creature comfort isn’t on, my handles are presenting and car is starting fine about 75% of the time.

So, something’s definitely odd with creature comfort now. But car is on 3.3.5 and has been…

Tried fob/battery trick and it had no impact.

IDK.

Weird. I'll test this tonight or tomorrow if I remember

So, after driving the car a few more times today, I do think they actually did improve the black screen problem overall...Though you still get black screens when you first open the door, they do seem to come on much faster than before. It still needs some work though.
