Being in Boston with my AGT on 21's I've learned that the Odd number wheel size winter tire options are very limited. No mater what wheel option you chose, it seems like this will be an issue.
What are people planning on doing that have to worry about this?
 
I live in the mountains in California, and so had the exact same question. So I reached out to Lucid and asked. Beyond the currently available tire options, they said that they're working on two different winter tire options, and that they should be available before this winter. No details beyond that, unfortunately. I'm hoping at least one of the options isn't a winter-only tire, as a drive in California can easily go from warm temperatures at sea level to freezing up in the mountains. Fingers crossed for a good all-season 3PMSF rated tire.

Yeah, 21" winter tire options are limited. Most switch to 19" or 20" wheels for winter—better tire availability and safer in snow.

There's the Nokians which I have on my dad's rivian and are a hoot. There are also some random hankook snow tires. Both on the small voyager wheel. You might be able to find some Michelins in the aether wheel size.
 
I am curious about winter tire options as well. We also live in the Boston area and head up to NH and VT quite a bit in the winter. I emailed Lucid customer support and they said to just use the OEM all season tires - a response I didn't like. I'm not a fan of all season tires in the snow. In my experience, they might be ok when new but start to struggle as the tread wears. I called Tire Rack and the only had one set of matching tires that would fit 20/21 wheels that are currently on our gravity. Those are Vrendstein Wintrac Pro+ tires. A set of tires was about $1400. I'm curious if anybody has found any other options?
 
I bought the Vrendstein Wintrac Pro+ set from Tire Rack along with the 20/21” wheels from Lucid service. Getting tires mounted on the wheels and wheels mounted on my DE on Friday, just in time to be able to drive up to the mountains around here (Seattle area).

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts, that’s my winter backup plan if all seasons don’t cut it.

The Vredestein Quatrac Pro+ is also a snow rated option if you do more mixed driving

It’s a pet peeve mine when ever I see someone suggest a new AS as alternative to a snow. Even for one season.

Snow tires isn’t just about tread. The rubber make up is more important than the tread. I’d take a worn snow over a new all season on ice any day.

I agree you want snows if you travel between MA, NH and VT.

I’m a huge fan of performance snow tires. They do better on wet or dry roads than snows and 90% as good in deeper snow. Roads are dry, cold and wet more than they are covered with snow. So you’re statistically safer on a performance snow. They run quieter and more efficient too.

You want a snow tire even when it’s dry and cold. They will stop better.

I used to get Nolan’s but now I get Performance snows. Like Pirelli Scorpion Winter. They tend to get offered in low profile sizes too. Not cheap.

I am going with Michelin All Season 4 on square 22s and staggered stock diameter stock width sizing

I have been running winter scorpions on multiple vehicles over past decade and they are excellent. Suggesting they are anywhere near as good as the best all season tires in the dry is ridiculous.

The best all season tire in the dry I ever bought was Michelin All Season 4, the stopping is phenomenal in the dry, excellent in the wet, really good on snow. Complete garbage on ice.

Only lasted 20k on my 5200lb Lincoln but I had some good times…

Yes, but that Vrendstein was the only true winter tire. I called Tire Rack too and they didn't didn't offer up anything else. I haven't explored going up in wheels sizes. We purchased our car with the 20/21" wheels. Has anybody else looked into other wheels? Does Lucid sell the directly?

I agree 100%. I'm generally a fan of performance snow tires as well. I've had Dunlops, Pirellis, and Blizzaks (regular snows on a minivan - I didn't like them). I liked the old Dunlops the best. The Pirelli's were ok. I'd like to try some Michelin Artic Alpin tires, but I didn't see them in a compatible size. I also had great luck with some cheap Firestone snow tires for an old minivan, surprisingly better than the Blizzaks (I know that is a hot take).

If I lived where you do I'd choose the Wintrac Pro+ too. Can't beat a performance snow tire even in the wet sleet.
For what @TahoeMichael and I drive (snow to the sea & back) the CrossClimate 2 or Quatrac Pro+ are both 3Peak Mtn Snowflake (3PMSF) rated snow tires and have MUCH better tread life
