They likely always had plenty of fobs but knew there was an issue and didn’t want to have to troubleshoot or worry about extra fobs or different behavior and just wanted to wait until they had a fix they knew worked

As with most cars, if you turn the wheel far enough going through the turn, it will automatically turn off.

When changing lanes, you can press the lever lightly and it will blink until you release pressure. I don't think there is a mode where it intuits you have finished the lane change unless you are using highway assist and the car is handling the lane change.

Tap the turn signal stalk lightly, and the car will blink three times. Or you can tap it in either direction to cancel an extension blinking signal.

Our delivery advisor spent at least 1/2 hour on helping us set up the car and acct. He then helped me by putting the front plate mount and Titanium bears on the car. We were very pleased after never having that much attention from a Tesla delivery.

I am very interested in seeing a picture of the front license plate. Is it mounted on the bottom bumper or the frunk hood? New Jersey law requires a front plate, but it ruins the look of most cars.

Yeah, I don't think I've seen a car do the auto-cancel turn signal on lane change other than my old Model X, which actually kinda needed it since the turn buttons were capacitive and there's no "flick to activate 3 blinks" like you'd get with most stalk-based turn indicators. Not a huge deal of course, but a surprisingly nice quality-of-life feature that I'm hoping will come to the Lucid, as they get more iterations and confidence in their DreamDrive autonomous driving software.

The fob doesn’t work at all? Did you replace the battery? Does your fob have the new firmware update and 3.3.2 software? What is Lucid doing about it? You’re just using the keycards to drive? And yeah I agree, this is a stupid problem that was supposed have been fixed by Lucid like how many times now? Like the frunk….which I have to tap open twice on my Air to get it open.

Fob works in a hit or miss fashion. I have to click it like 7 times sometimes for it to register. Sometimes I realized it takes a few seconds before it works.

Your frunk issue sounds just like mine. Did you get it fixed?

FWIW I’ve had the same drink issue fixed twice. Once at delivery and then again at SC. Neither one solved the issue. Still have to “double open” it >50% of the time. I just don’t use it right now as I can see it stressing the frunk hood when it tried to open the first time.

Our delivery advisor also spent quite a bit of time with us and tried to help with everything we asked of him. No issues on that front. He even insisted on installing the canopy sunshades, which is something I was planning to do myself. He said he had never seen them before and wanted to check them out.

What do you think about the canopy sunshades?

Oh really? Mine said they couldn’t generate a purchase agreement until the vehicle had passed PDI and arrived at SC for delivery. That then caused delays because the purchase agreement was wrong 3 times and the lender wouldn’t finalize the loan without a correct purchase agreement. So I’ve had to delay my delivery till some time next week cuz of having to wait for the check from the lender to arrive cuz PenFed is very old school and sends a physical check via FedEx you have to sign. Yeah I saved 0.75% on interest going with them, but wish I’d used BofA because it would have been a lot faster.

Just to be clear, if you use Lane Change Assist, it will turn the blinker off for you. It’s only if you manually change lanes that you need to turn the blinker off.

I have had no license plate on my cars in NJ since 2018 and have never been stopped or received a sunmons…

Yeah me neither in Rhode Island. In fact when they do the vehicle inspection every 2 years they just tape the front license plate on, take a picture of it on the car, then remove it and give it back to me.

Yeah. I get decided not to open it until my service appointment lest it gets stuck and the car won't move.

I am taking my Gravity to LinerX tomorrow so they can take measurements and then offer to folks.

I’ve had all sorts of mats across our cars. I like WeatherTech, but think they’re really over priced and fit hasn’t been what it used to be. The Lucid all weather mats are pretty nice. That’s what I have now.

A forum member is having their scanned by 3D (not me) so hopefully won’t take too long. I loved the 3D mats for my air, although they were a little tricky to clean cuz of lots of tiny divots.
