No idea haha, I’ll find out when I pick it up! My SA Chris has been great, always communicated when he got new info, would call or text, and was always quick to find out answers to questions.

I am pretty sure that this is not correct. I recently heard from my SA (my first contact in weeks) when I asked him if I should apply for financing and he didn't think my car was even built yet. And also, I've had this option for almost 48 hours now myself, and no car. I have also been told that some people had their financing expire 30 days after filling it out online because their cars didn't get delivered in that window.

SAs seem to be on many different pages and misinformation is rampant. I don't think they're trying to do a bad job, I just think Lucid's organization on this front is in quite a bit of disarray.
 
I am pretty convinced at this point that I will have DE#450

As others have mentioned, it's best to wait until closer to the delivery date to apply for financing. It does expire after a set time period, so best to wait until close to delivery. The process doesn't take a long time. For reference, my GGT just went into production Saturday and I have the option available.
 
Just like others said. Wait until you know the car is in your local Service Center (or at least on the way there). Yesterday my car status changed to "Preparing for Delivery" and today my SA (that I had to change) told me that yesterday my car arrived to Seattle and is awaiting PDI. I believe it should be now safe for me to apply for financing.
I think financing through Lucid might be a little more forgiving. I think there was one user that had pre-approval through Lucid expire and they still accepted it.

Thanks. As others have mentioned, my SA advised me to wait until the last minute to submit my application. Hopefully, the link going active is a good sign, but after all this waiting I'm not going to get my hopes up.
 
why would one need to go to Lincoln park if paying with a cashier check?

Yeah, my SA said to expect mid-October for the factory gate (4 weeks), so I'm going with that. I assume that since my config includes the Tech Package there is an added degree of uncertainty.

How many miles did you have on the 22 Air GT?
I met you at the Newport gathering a few yrs ago
 
I don't know what the time was from entering production to delivery on our second GDE or what any of the waypoints were, as my SA never advised me of anything unless I texted him to ask (which I did infrequently, as I was in no hurry for this second one).

However, upon asking today, I was told it would be delivered to Naples on September 30, three months to the day after delivery of our first GDE on June 30 . . . and once again right at the end of a fiscal quarter. I'm convinced our first problem-plagued GDE was rushed through inspection and out the door in order to make an end-of-quarter delivery number. I'm just hoping that's not the case with this one.

Ironically, the first GDE -- which has spent almost as much time down for service as it has spent on the road -- won't get back from the Service Center in Roswell, GA until after we take delivery of the second one. Fingers crossed it will be less cursed.

Just picked up my GDE this afternoon. Flawless… started… detected keys properly… set up card key… created profile and followed the instructions if Nick the delivery person at Millbrae. Set up car and drive it away. Used DDPro most all the way home smoothly. So far so good… Lucid FTW!

Yeah I know never really set up a name and decided my Air is always new to me.
I've got 25K miles but mine was a late 2022 and had few issues compared to what you have mentioned. Car drives better than new but won't be a nice as a Gravity . For me I just do not need a bigger car and may wait till the more rugged looking MidsizeX arrives by then my 8yr/100K powertrain warranty may be up. Glad to see the Gravity seems to have more excitement around it's introduction compared to the Air which seemed to fly under the radar

Are GDEs currently being delivered with the frunk seats and with the second key fobs, or are they still in short supply. (I received the paperwork tonight to sign for delivery, but there was no "due bill" indicating anything still to be delivered.)

What I got 2 weeks ago for my DE:

- mobile charger with 2 adapters
- frunk dream edition seats
- 1 key fob with another listed in the due bill (only for DE)
- 2 key cards

I received the pre-delivery paperwork yesterday with the invoice and payment instructions. Our car is being delivered directly to the shop that will install the PPF. I was told Lucid would email me all the final delivery paperwork. The paperwork I was emailed tonight was identical to the paperwork I received when taking delivery of our first GDE at the Service Center three months ago -- neither more nor less.

Although we were told at that first delivery that we were on a list to receive a second key fob, I was given no "due bill". In fact, I first heard of such a thing from other posters on this forum.
