Air 2.8.4 software update

Same here, the logic seems give CarPlay priority when the infotainment decides whatever was last playing. Even if it doesn't necessarily make sense, such as if I'd had a YouTube video paused.
On the plus side I have not observed a Spotify crash so far.

Everything seems about the same for me. Maybe slightly better mi/kwh, but could be a fantom.

I have this same issue. I exclusively use the native Tidal app. I often enter the car and it's defaulted to CarPlay music.

Ok I just tried this and it loaded SXM okay which was what I’d been listening too

I also am noticing better mi/kwh but weather has cooled for me in Sacramento a bit so less AC use so not sure yet
Yes, I had the same issue no hands free DA and even regular DA would not steer. The problem went away later in the day after I stopped for a few hours and restarted the car. All is fine now.

The only changes that I've noticed are my car wakes up quicker and from further distance with the fob and mobile key. I know this is still an issue for many. The Tidal app now seems to remember the last song and starts playing from there (the app still needs a lot of work though), AA automatically loads faster and more consistently, and the ambient lighting randomly turning off is fixed.
I had this happened before the update, so it may be a ghost in the machine rather than the update itself.
Noticed the same improvements. Ambient lighting used to be kind of random. I'd leave it on, but get in the car the enxt day and it would be off. Now it stays on if that's how I set it. Or off. I also notice car opens more quickly as my phone approaches it, and locks more quickly as I walk away.

It’s been pretty hot here so I don’t think it’s due to more or less AC use
Probably a fluke, but my Pixel 7 mobile key has been flawless the past two days after the update. No wait time to wake up and handles present when I'm about 4 ft away from the car. It's been working so well that the GF asked me what's wrong with car

I called customer service to check on the 2.8.4 update (terrific people - very helpful). She told me the OTA team would push it out to me.
This morning I received this text:
“This is Ashli following up from Lucid CC, we spoke yesterday. Upon reaching out to my OTA Team, it seems they have chosen to cancel the 2.8.4 update. They are working to release the next update campaign soon. Please accept my apologies for the miscommunication on this.”
So 2.8.4 has been canceled!
This morning I received this text:

This can also happen if you press the fob button once while a door/frunk/trunk is still ajar. There have been a couple times where I press the Trunk Close button on the lid itself, then pressed the fob a single time while it was still in the cinching process (but appeared to be closed). This surprised me with a "Something is open" horn.
Well that's... interesting. My 2.8.4 update failed a week ago and I was taking the approach of "Let's see if it naturally tries again later." But then CS sent me a text yesterday and said they noticed the failure, and asked me to disable WiFi as a solution. I did this and they manually pushed a second attempt last night. It was successful.
So it's rather amusing to hear that between 8PM and 10AM EST, they apparently decided to halt further installations? Was I the last client to board the Questionable Update train?
