Gravity Bugs / Issues

I’m also 5’9”. I can see the HUD at the lowest position. I haven’t really seen any distortion, though it does bump around a little if I’m on a bumpy road.
Hmm when I put the HUD down to the lowest position the pixel sharpens way too much to the point where it hurts my eyes.

Oh, what joy it would be to see firsthand what you're all talking about. Last I heard Lucid still can't get our new HUD unit even to power up because the car won't accept the software download to run it.

The fob had worked for me for two weeks until today. I had used proximity lock/unlock, started car, etc until today. Did get the “not detected” warning every time I got in car but it went away and I drove using fob.

Today I have the won’t start car and won’t unlock car using proximity issue. Buttons don’t work. But, I can approach car and push handle in and it presents. I then use the key card to put it in gear.

I should add, fob buttons work now - I’ve disabled proximity lock/unlock, so the fob now works when I press the buttons to luck and unlock. Still need card to start. But, I can not push the handle to lock. I can push handle to unlock, but am just using fob buttons for now. So a “modified @DrZorro method”.

Tried new battery - no change. Definitely not just a battery thing.

Wonky day but key card is working, so I will use that, as others have.

Love the car, not piling on, just sharing my experience. FWIW I had same issues with my 2016 X, but they were solved.
I am now having the same issue since the 3.3.1 update. Car is very slow to start up the screens and the key fob won't start the car about 50% of the time now. I haven't have the SC key firmware refresh yet and also don't have a 2nd fob yet either. They are going to do it via mobile server on 10/10/25 but its getting really bad now. its just about everytime I have to use the key card to start the car. I really wish they would give us the phone-as-a-key option asap instead of driver recorder etc. The key issue is the only big negative I have had with my GDE but its definitely a bad issue.

I will say that after the key update at SC, fob has worked everytime. Before that, I spent about 3.5 weeks using my keycard daily.

I don’t think PaaK is coming soon. Too many bugs to address in current software.

But wouldn't PaaK also hedge against their key software? I mean it would give people another option.

Wouldn’t PaaK have to interact with their key software in some way? I don’t think PaaK would help if it’s just as buggy, or even a little buggy, as fob. It would make them look more disjointed (in my eyes).

When Tesla intro’d PaaK it took a couple of updates to work right. Rivian had several updates as certain iPhones worked and others didn’t.

Anyone else have an issue where the seats/wheel don’t move for “easy entry/exit”? I have it “on” but it’s worked maybe 20% of the time. When it does work, it frequently doesn’t move back to my profile position…seems like a bug. I think others have commented on this.

Should’ve had them look at it when it was in SC but I didn’t give them my small list of issues as I wanted them to focus on big ones.

2nd time since the 3.3.1 update that I cannot charge at my usual EA DC Fast Charging location without using the Lucid app. What happened to the plug-and-charge functionality that I used to enjoy?

I've had this and also had it not move back after it moved for easy exit. So I turned off the feature.

Hm, ours has been flawless. It moves back to my position right after I buckle my seatbelt or hit the brake

Does your seat move back when you put it in park and unbuckle? I’ve noticed mine only does it after I open the door.

Used to Tesla where the easy entry will move the seats back when you unbuckle the seatbelts.

When I open the door. Same as the Air.

Again, it’s not consistent. That’s my biggest “issue” with the bugs. But I guess that’s what makes them bugs. Sometimes my seat moves when I unbuckle, usually not. Sometimes when I buckle, usually not. Not sure about if I open door.

It’s on my list of smaller items to deal with it at some point.

It should be moving to the easy entry every time you open the door. If you close the door and hit the brake it should revert to your seating position. If it doesn’t, you have an issue.

My easy entry/exit hasn’t worked since 2 weeks after taking delivery. Guessing the seat needs to be re-homed or something which can only be done by a Service Tech. Was hoping OTA’s would fix it but never did. It’s on the list for the Service Center to look at when it goes in.

Yup, your center console wiring harness is pinched. Call service.
They are having me bring it in to the SC. First available appointment was October 13th so a 3 week lag time. Not good but it is what it is. Key Fob still works fine and I can charge the phone off the USB which still works so I haven't lost use of the car.

It’s happened a couple times where my easy entry doesn’t sync with my profile and I need to click my profile to get my seating position in after I get into the car.

It seldom happens though.

Sadly, add me to the list of folks who are having issues with the key card being recognized in the center console. I took delivery Saturday, 9/20 (was factor gated 9/5). The key card worked at delivery and worked taking the first round of kids to school this morning, but did not work for taking the second round of kids to school. I tried both key cards, let the vehicle sit for about 4 hours, tried again, and the vehicle still does not recognize the key card at the center console. Both key cards unlock the vehicle. Happily, the key fob is working (delivered with 3.3.1 and I assume the key fob update applied) so we are using that.
We also have a weird bug where the temperature units up front are in Fahrenheit but, on the second row screen, they are in Celsius. I have a hunch that I'll be able to fix it by changing the unit to Celsius and then back to Fahrenheit.
I also noticed that the mechanism for moving the second row forwards/backwards is quite loud. Have other folks noticed that, too?
We took the vehicle on an 80+ mile trip yesterday and it worked great and was able to hold so, so much more stuff than our iX despite having similar exterior dimensions. The kids are pushing to go on a road trip in it, but I think we'll wait a bit until Lucid works some more bugs out and I have more of a chance to find any other issues.
