I have also experienced this twice now where the screens stay black for about 20 seconds until they finally come on (which they eventually do and the car drives normally if I wait it out).

This 'vehicle sleep' happened to me multiple times yesterday, not in the morning but in the afternoon. Hadn't happened before. Car functioned absolutely perfectly this morning. Hoping that continues. Also, started to get the persistent (every 10 secs) 'key not detected,' which had only happened intermittently before. I have not had the SC visit yet for fob update although I am scheduled for next week. I texted one of the techs at the service center to ask if there was a way to turn off these alerts and got a mind-boggling answer. There is a slot in the console (toward the front of the tray, thought was for sunglasses) to put the fob, fits perfectly. No more issues on fey fob detection. Did I miss a post on the forum about this? This would have been excellent information to receive during vehicle orientation but SAs probably didn't know this either.

I didn’t think that slot did anything except hold the fob. They told me at delivery it could hold the fob but I didn’t have to use it. Will try it. I don’t think most folks do that and they have no issue. Will also say that would be annoying if you have to put it there - should be able to just keep fob in pocket - otherwise, proximity unlock is a bit pointless.

I do get the “key not detected” every now and then post-update (I have fob update) but it goes away quickly and only happens while I am driving. Strange but a Lucid employee posted here or somewhere in forum they’re aware of it.
 
Anyone else notice in the app, once car has 3.3.1, sometimes you open app and an animation shows charge port door open, then closes and goes back to normal view?

Happens whether car is charging or not and is infrequent.
 
Live view worked with my WiFi today! Hadn’t previously. Both car and phone are on WiFi (different SSIDs).

There’s an app update (which I am doing now) that talks about live view, etc.

Yes, this happens to me as well. wrt fob slot, the 'key not detected' warning has not occurred once when I put the fob in that slot. Anyway, maybe you're right and just a holder. I'll let the forum know if the warning occurs with fob in slot. We're all beta-testers, it seems.

Just tried fob slot on a 15 minute drive. Got the “key not detected” three times while it was in slot. That’s more than usual. IDK. They’ll figure it out.

Wrt to car sleeping even once I am in it, my current attempt at workaround is to precondition the cabin, which seems to keep the car more awake and ready when I approach. I was going to say it keeps the car “woke” but realized that could set off a firestorm of responses… 🤣

I’ve had the same a few times since the new software.

This happened pre update to me.

The other thing is the center screen always shows my drive side door is open. Well 50% of the time. Then I open and close it again and then imation closes it.

I also use to be able to screw up the seat profile but opening and closing the door mid way through the car setting the seat to the correct position.

My car still gets the seat settings wrong about 50% of the time. I wish you could adjust the position of the seat for entry / exit. It seems to be set at one position, but I’d like more space. In the grand scheme, not a big deal.
 
I tried to raise and lower the height of the car yesterday form the app. Nothing.

I was also playing around with turning the lights on when looking at the front view of the car, via live view. Weirdly the lights only came on for 2-3 seconds then turned off. I had to keep pressing the headlight button over and over.
 
I recommend this USB flash drive. Someone else here recommended as well.

“Easy” to install, though Lucid put the USB port in an insanely anwkard place both because the glovebox is so deep and it’s on the side in the back. No way to see what you’re doing.

Oddly, it seems the ones folks are getting to work are all USB 3.1 or 3.2 which is backwards compatible.

I got this one. Put it in and it worked…for less than 10 hours. Now won’t recognize any USB drive. 😢

Yes its definitely hard to get to, I struggled a bit, but I was also way to lazy to walk around the car and sit inside the passenger seat. Which of course after 5 mins of trying I had to do.

I sat in passenger seat and it still took me 5-10 minutes! The hope is that’s the first and last time we need to do it. I guess I’d be a really crappy surgeon…
 
Just want to confirm, the fob update for the newest OTA might be able to be done via mobile service. The service guy thinks it should be fine and they will try it when they come out in a month to take care of the car.

Did he actually do anything to/with the fob? When my car was in SC, they had a specific device they had to put them fob in /on to update its firmware.
