Hmm..I wonder if this is related to Lucid's announced "important cloud update" scheduled for today/tomorrow?

Window control is already in the App. It's only available on Gravity though.

It's locally controlled, doesn't need the cloud, so I wouldn't think so.

And you can currently use it with Home Assistant for both Air and Gravity.

They’re probably updating some servers. Who knows

the auto lock / unlock setting? anyway, hoping for some new little unannounced feature. but to me, any cloud updates are good updates.

This is not the same complaint that it takes too long; sort of the opposite. Ideally, the car would not auto unlock and the relock when in my garage. A second best would be more than the 30 seconds or so before it re-locks and then auto unlocks again. Every time I go into my garage to get something or take the other car, it cycles through the unlock/lock process until it turns itself off. Of course, then when I am intending to get in the Lucid, the feature has been disabled. And I am simply not focussed enough to remember to leave my phone in the house each time. Maybe it is me that needs better programming, but I am on version 58.5 and have no realistic expectation that future updates will solve my issues.

Agreed. Auto lock is too fast. An alternate improvement is to disable auto lock when you are home.

You have to train yourself to think that you are going out (in your car) every time you go to the garage.. Basically convert that "unwanted unlock happening" into "wanted unlock not happening" - problem solved :)

It's all about perspective!
 
Yes, in the above case, with autolock disabled, you would have to push the door handle to open the car. The other way to reactivate autolock is by opening your doors through the app. That resets autolock. I did notice that the latest update disables autolock after fewer cycles. A manual activate/deactivate switch on the app (or better yet geofenced linked) would be a great software improvement
 
After driving the Gravity DE for a few weeks, I can definitely recommend a few (seemingly simple) software improvements:

1) Ability to use the right sided touch pad buttons to cycle through My Favorite channels that I have starred in the list.

2) Ability to have mixed media sources saved as one "My Favorites"...ex: Have a mix of SiriusXM channels AND regular radio stations all one the same list without having to switch audio sources and then pull up a separate favorites list. Also, have the Favorites list be the default list that loads every time when you get in the car.

3) Ability to save Hold/Creep setting. It seems to default to Hold every time I get in the car. I'm in the minority of people that prefer Creep mode and I have to change that setting every time I drive the car. I'm not sure if this happens intentionally as part of the EPA rating stuff (like some ICE cars have a default mode that turns the engines off at stoplights to obtain a certain MPG rating) or if this is an oversite or a glitch.

4) And just for good measure... Android Auto in the Gravity would be great! 🤣
 
Interestng. I thought Air would get the featues Gravity has at some point. Not the other way around. Those who own Gravity and Air can check Navigation some places example Costco Fremont, CA and Trader Joe's Fremont, CA.. I think Gravity was going to the parking lot where Air was going to the street behind purely based on the street address. Both have the same maps. Can someone confirm what I noticed in a demo in Gravity vs Air I have?

Hold and Creep are separate independent vehicle setting in the Air. Hold engages after you stop. Just hit accelerator to go. Creep is like an ICE car idling. It is engaged when you tap the accelerator. Foot on brake to control creep speed.
 
One new feature that to me would be most helpful

1) When driving the car if you move the seat to audition a new position there is no way to return it to the "memory" location unless the car is parked.
 
Looks like this thread is inactive for some time now. I know Lucid added a SWFeedback email, however, if a feature is wanted by many and only one person sends an email, they might ignore it. They should publish the owner suggestions and let people vote. In any case, I sent a suggestion asking to add an "At Home" mode. I find it very annoying and a waste of electricity that every time you enter the garage with the key fob in your pocket, the car unlocks and starts conditioning the car for driving. In reality you are there for other things or just want to get something from the car.

I think a simple solution is to add an "At Home" mode. When the driver taps this button, leave the doors unlocked and put the car in a no driving mode. This way, you can load/unload stuff multiple time without the car turning on air conditioning and thus save electricity. To get out of "At Home" mode, you can turn on Climate in the App or put the car in R or D using the gear selector. If you agree with me, please send an email to [email protected]. This should be a simple feature to add and hopefully they will consider it when more people ask for it. Thanks.

Funny you should mention this. I’ve actually created a feature on Lucid Tracker that does this very thing for bugs but could also be applied to feature requests. I’m awaiting a response from Lucid before making it visible on the site though.

Put another way... the car doesn't do enough to know what the intentions are for the person who has unlocked it... until it does, a "start/stop" button would be useful (started out in stop state when you unlock the car)... but really, there is a middle ground if they simply made use of additional information that they do have... for instance, if there is no one sitting in the driver's seat, the the car isn't going to be driven. Likewise, if the driver's door has not been opened, the car isn't going to be driven... either one of these clues could allow for a quicker, more targeted starting of systems until such time that someone does indicate the intent of driving (unlocked driver door, or sitting in the driver's seat, or a "start" button press... any one would do it).
 
Instead of a button, why not use the car's location for entering "Home" mode. Fold the mirrors, unlock the car.

Everyone might not want this. What if you're parking outside on a regular basis. Folding the mirrors would be great,. Keeping the car unlocke, not so much. A button, or at least an option for one, would be better.

It's a good point that everyone might not want that. So why not make the "home" automatic based on location and then allow user to set just what actions happen in "home" mode.
