I have had it two months and it has 4,100 miles on it. They replaced the parcel shelf when I took it in after about two weeks of ownership. Then, last week after Lucid keeping it for a few days theey returned it. They didn’t actually tell me that they didn’t do anything. They just sent me the paperwork. Not until I started driving it did I realize that it sounded pretty much like it did before and I called Lucid service back and that’s when the service manager told me that I should turn down the volume and not use the EQ because that’s the way it was designed and that it wasn’t under warranty. I’ve read through several other owners through this forum, who had the same problem as my audio dropping out, dropping down and with the rattle on the shelf and Lucid makes it sounds like they’ve never heard of it ever before from anyone, ever! It’s time that that Lucid takes responsibility for situations like this and takes care of their owners, or their owners won’t take care of them.
I’m probably one of their best ambassadors that they have just like each one of y’all are probably one of the best ambassadors that they have and we could also be their worst ambassadors. I own stock and purchased it way before I bought my car because I believe in the company. I know some people didn’t like Peter, but I don’t think he was the main fault of the company. The company should’ve let him be the CTO and then hired somebody as CEO. Making him have both positions was a little too much. I just wished that I didn’t have to escalate something as trivial as this to get my radio fixed and then be looked at every time I walk in there as here comes Mr. trouble. I went yesterday and had a sub put in the trunk to give it. The Bass disconnected their sub driver to eliminate the rattle because it was driving me crazy. I shouldn’t have to spend money past the purchase of the vehicle to be able to enjoy it, it’s a shame.
