Same. I deal with the tidal UI in the car because a) they pay their artists better and b) Atmos.
But I don’t try to do anything except play my albums, playlists, and favorites. The setup of those happens on my phone or computer.
The car, at least for now, is for Tidal consumption, not management, at least for me.
Same. Plus.
I love Tidal, but I work in high end audio and have subscriptions to Tidal and Qobuz. I now use Tidal more because it is a native interface to Lucid and Tidal abandoned it's stupid proprietary file system for Flac. And Tidal works flawlessly in Roon and other sophisticated music file applications. (So does Qobuz) And Tidal is compatible with most high end streamers. And, Tidal integrates easily with the Sonos app and it's Atmos speakers.
For years, I have had my albums and playlists set up in Tidal. And I constantly tweak, add and subtract music, into my Tidal account, from my iPad. Never an issue. And my wife I love Tidal's suggested Mixes based on our listening.
Funny, I never thought of the Tidal thin client app in the Lucid entertainment ui as anything more that a selection interface mechanism. I cannot image wanting to use the Lucid screen or any automobile entertainment screen for serious music file management. We can all agree it was never made for that.
With Tidal,I find the sound in the Lucid to be fantastic. And dead easy to play our music. I cannot imagine the alternative of taking the time to fill up a USB with high res Flacs. My wife has Tidal on her Android phone, so she uses Android auto in her Audi to play Tidal.
And sorry
@DeaneG, I cannot listen to Spotify. It's like fingernails on a chalkboard to me.

@borski said, I use my ipad or PC to do Tidal song file management into my Tidal account. Or I use Roon. And all work flawlessly. When I get in the Lucid, I just want to hit play. And drive like I stole it.
