Audio Issues

Found on Google and registered just to reply to this thread. I've had my 2025 Touring for 5 days and have already experienced this issue, crazy the first few pages are so dismissive.

No audio from any sources for the entire drive, including Bluetooth, navigation, and the speaking assistant. Turn signal beeps and emergency chimes are OK. Did not soft reset as I didn't notice until on the road but it was resolved by the time I went back out for lunch, so likely that would work.

Waiting to see if audio is working and potentially resetting the car is not something I want to incorporate into my daily routine. Look forward to hearing about a resolution soon. Subscribed!

Happened twice to me, once exactly as you described, and once two days ago where you could get sound from various sources, but only for a second or two, cutting in and out (mostly out). Fortunately was able to pull over and do an Air reset just before I got on the freeway, which restored full functionality. Minor irritation, but I assume something they can fix OTA as it's been reported by a number of people. Before a long trip, I think I'll just do a proactive Air reset seeing as it's been very sporadic for me.

I have 34,000 miles on my car. I have never once had to pull over to restart my audio stream.
This happens to me almost daily def multiple times a week, I've been extremely vocal about it too. It's incredibly frustrating to get into your car in the morning, leave, and audio isn't working

It's happened to me a few times in the 2.5 years I've owned the car. Sound always came back with a soft reset.

Yes, that sounds totally manageable, but I can’t emphasize how frustrating it is everyday day to have to pull over and do…

Yup...I just had the pleasure of the second variety (cutting in/out instead of complete silence) today. You completely undersold it! It's not just "cutting in and out".... but rather it plays for a second when you interact with ANYTHING on the screen before going to silence again!

Hard to explain how absurd it is, so turn up your sound and watch the linked video. File was too large to attach directly to the forum:

Great example. While driving I guess I did not keep hitting screen elements enough while trying to drive - You found the answer, just keep hitting the screen in order to play music :-)

Btw, like your taste in music.

I've been chasing this down on my '23 AP also, for the past few months.
The car was in for it's annual checkup just a few months ago. I complained to Lucid about it, primarily when we thought it was a CarPlay problem.
They dismissed it as an Apple issue, since all Lucid modules were up to date and working.
I begrudgingly accepted that because there were also posts on Apple forums saying that there were select CarPlay audio issues on other makes also, and that iOS 18.4.1 was to solve it.
I set up 18.4.1 on my device last weekend, and have been driving the car the last few days (I'm not usually the primary driver) and things worked great.
THEN, today, with a long, horrible commute up to 45min due to rain, NOTHING. No sound. No CarPlay audio, no Bluetooth audio, no AM/FM radio audio.
Not even Lucid Assistant audio!
I was already late for work and a pull-over and soft reset were NOT conducive (nor a constructive solution to this). So it was a very silent drive.

I'm sorry, this has been going on a while now. We love LOVE the car. It drives and rides and seats us/passengers so well. When everything is working, it's literally a dream car.
But that is few and far between, and I'm so glad I leased it at this point.
Customer service is very gracious, but even their helpfulness is limited.
All they seem to do is flash updates, and say everything is "up to date."
They even replaced a module 6 months ago, but that has not really helped.

The Air shares a garage with a Jeep Grand Cherokee hybrid, and the internet is riddled with annoying and sometimes scary issues with that platform.
Yet my Jeep is somehow far more reliable than our Lucid?
Make this universe make sense.

To sum up this audio issue, it could be back to working when I go out to lunch, or later tonight, or tomorrow, or.....it might not work for a couple days!
Let's be real, these are expensive cars, this is basics stuff, and it should not be this glitchy or difficult.

I have had and continue to have just about every problem listed here. I Air reset several times a month. I delete and reinstall Carplay but cannot keep a stable connection. Songs played though carplay start and stop constantly. Using Spotify without Carplay works fine. Last week I had Carplay Sirius XM streaming and FM radio both playing through the speakers at the same time. At that point Carplay freezes and you cannot get rid of it. I have had instances of no sound at all which meant I had to pull over and do a reset. I have had my car since 8/22 so not yet three years. I love the look, feel and driving the car but cannot get past the frustration of the audio system. I d hope this becomes a priority as it does affect the enjoyment of the ride.
