LUCID Gravity GT
Just drove the Gravity GT today as well for almost 25 minutes. I didn't get a thank you gift bag though 😂

Driving Experience
1. It is probably the best SUV I have ever driven, I am convinced the GT is value for money even at $120k! (Although I have a DE on order mainly because I want the car sooner and extra HP will make it even more fun!)
2. I forgot I was driving with the squircle within a minute, it is super natural feeling to it -- forces you to keep hands at 9 and 5 which is good. Absolutely loved the unobstructed visibility of the curved screen!!! They had disabled the heads-up display because it's no longer being offered on the GT likely due to parts shortage. Also my 0.03$, I love headsup displays and it's a bummer they got removed from the GT, but with the unobstructed visibility, I didn't miss it on the drive at all
3. Super easy to maneuver due to rear wheel steering, the turning radius is really good, we took a U turn and it was as easy as any mid size sedan I've driven
4. Parking cameras are very nice, top view and 3D view are both great
5. I would say the Gravity GT is as fast as the Air Touring, which is pretty quick for an SUV! 0-60 in ~3.5s. Acceleration was very good and felt super smooth (I did some back of the hand math, I think the DE will be ~3 seconds)
6. Launch mode was fun, especially with the bear graphics!
7. Driving without regenerative braking, felt super natural and coasted like any non EV car. Driving with regen felt similar to the Air
8. The suspension / ride comfort was very good even with the 22/23 wheels (went over a few potholes to check, easy to find in the bay area 😂)

Exterior
9. The Stealth is super nice and really accentuates the look, it's not too black almost like a space gray Apple color
10. I have seen both black / green. Personally I think the green looks the best of the two, it's more subtle than it looks in the photos
11. I really liked both the Tahoe / Yosemite. Tahoe with green will be a great combination although I chose Yosemite

Interior
12. The infotainment / digital screens got stuck when I was messing with them for about 30 minutes and could see some lag / unresponsiveness 😂 (nothing that won't be fixed eventually though)
13. The interior is super premium and very nice materials, feel to it. I have owned Mercedes cars (which I think is one of the best in class interior) and this was definitely on par
14. 2nd row space is amazing, tons of leg room, 3 adults can sit comfortably although nobody likes being in that middle seat. The trays felt like they were a bit high but maybe there's a reason for that I am not aware of
15. I could easily fit in the third row, I am 5' 10" (would be happy to sit there for hours on a road trip). Even if you set the first and second row were set as behind as possible, it's still super spacious. Panoroma glass really helps not feel crammed in the 3rd row, they even have a tiny 1-2 inch recline

Orders Information from talking to Lucid representative
16. Gravity orders priority is current Lucid Air Owners (regardless of GT / DE as long as GT is fully loaded), then DE owners, then everyone else
17. I am confused about wheel options, 22/23 vs 21/22. Both say 386 miles of range for GT (370 for DE), I think the 21/22 should have slightly more range and it's likely they just did 2 EPA tests for largest and smallest wheels. They didn't know anything about this
18. Lucid representative told me my vehicle is being queued for production!! So that's another key piece of information (expecting June delivery). Oh and all Gravity's are model year 2026
19. DE lease feels like a bad deal even with the $7500 credit included -- 3 year lease, $8610 down (without first month, taxes, fees etc), 10k miles / year, $1999 / month (without taxes), 8%+ money factor, 78k residual value
20. Financing APR with Lucid should be around 6.75% but they are hoping to get more information soon

I really found this platform very useful as I was learning more about Gravity and if it's the right SUV for me, hopefully you all find all of the above information useful as well, thank you! 🙏

heh, based on your picture we probably drove the same vehicle at the mall, 50/50 chance because I believe they had two. :)

great write up, they kept saying the software was not ready so wouldn't show some stuff. this one had a HUD (which has a HUGE enclosure BTW) and while they did try to turn it on, it didn't work. they said they were trying not to show it becasue of recent developments.

all I'll add is that personally I thought it drove very heavy, if that makes sense. my Land Rover felt lighter on its feet afterwards; I'm sure that's due to the battery pack underneath. I'd have to have more than a 10 minutes drive to compare, but I think I slightly like the way the iX drives better.

I think they'll do very well with the Gravity. My wife who sat in the back said the whole vechicle comes off more as a station wagon than an SUV based on its height. she didn't mentioned minivan, so I guess that's a plus. :)

Yes 50/50 chance, can't tell the cars apart because they are spec'd the same 😂

Funny you mention -- Station Wagon, exactly my thoughts as well!
Especially when you have the air suspension in the lowest setting

What's the difference between a current Lucid Air owner and a DE owner? Isn't the DE a version of the Air. So, isn't a DE owner also a Lucid Air owner?

What am I missing?

Sorry that's a typo and not able to edit the message now

I meant current Lucid Air owners (regardless of whether they ordered Gravity GT / DE) get higher priority than Gravity DE orders (who aren't lucid air owners)

24k worth of interest over 3 years, not bad at all…

I don't think what the sales person told you is accurate. (Not a slam at you; this would be far from the first time a salesperson was winging an answer to a question.)

@Udon1122, who is not yet a Lucid owner, has received the VIN on a Gravity DE that he was told is enroute to Miami, where it will likely be delivered by end of the month.

Also, @eurekaboo, who is an Air Dream owner, says his Lucid account is showing his Gravity DE order is "in production" with a VIN appearing in the documentation, although he switched from a GT to a Dream order only a few days ago.

Here's my order status:

- Air Dream Edition owner since December 2021
- ordered Gravity GT 11/7/24 (the day orders opened)
- switched to DE 2/26 (the day DE orders opened)
- ordered a second DE 3/31
- both cars to be delivered out of Miami
- got call on 4/20 to confirm final order specs on both cars and did so
- no VIN issued for either car
- cars still only show as "Ordered" on my Lucid account, not "In Production"
- delivery advisor has no idea of delivery window(s)

Yeah I’m sure what the sales person told me was not a 100% accurate but an approximation. I also forgot to mention he said they are prioritizing certain configurations colors etc and ofcourse folks placed / upgraded their orders at different times

I should have also mentioned that he is trying to explain things based on the patterns he is seeing from the orders which are currently in production and queued up for production, which I really appreciate and is much better than most other sales people whom I spoke to who just flat out refused to answer the question about delivery priority and timeline because they don’t have official guidance from corporate

As for the statement about Lucid owners being given priority, the sales person's statement is consistent with the statement in the Lucid Press Release about Gravity orders starting on Nov 7. That release did say Lucid owners would be given priority.

Obviously that's changed for unknown reasons, but from what you shared, your SA was more accurate, based on other SA responses posted here and they gave you the context (based on patterns ) for their responses.

I feel for those SAs.

You have two GDEs on order and you have an Air
Not throwing shade on @Udon1122 at all but you will be a SLO (Super Lucid Owner).

People may eventually start describing themselves as Double Lucid Owners (Air & Gravity). You would be a rare SLO; owning more than two Lucids.

Something has certainly changed, and I'm just trying to discern any pattern I can, as I meet every one of the criteria that have been mentioned earlier, either in official Lucid communications or in remarks reported from sales associates:

- I am a current Lucid owner.
- I ordered a GT early on the morning that orders opened.
- I switched to a DE within an hour of those orders opening.
- One of our cars seems to be the most-ordered configuration (Aurora Green / Tahoe / 7-seat).
- I got a call to confirm the configuration before some who have already have VINs or even delivery dates report getting their first calls.
- We are taking delivery out of Miami which told another poster here that they have several cars on the way, including at least one being delivered this week.
- I am a cash buyer, so no lease/financing arrangements have to be made.

So I'm just curious why neither of our orders even has a VIN assigned. No crisis, but just seems weird.

True. Trying to understand it and yet you kind of want to wait anyway for any bugs to be cleared out.

What a story you would be: the customer who ordered, not one but two Gravities, and not just two Gravities, two GDEs.

You want as few bugs as possible, but if you're up, you're ready! 😀

@hmp10, both of your GDEs have the biggest wheels, too, right? (I wondered if smaller wheels were another, uh, supply chain constraint)

Nope. We're getting the biggest wheels on the black GDE, as I want the new Pirrelli PZ5 max performance tires (which are getting rave reviews but aren't yet available in sizes for the other wheel options). And, as we want one car set up for cold weather roads trips, we're getting the mid-size wheels with the Michelin Primacy all-seasons on the green GDE. (There are, as of yet, no all-season tires on the market that will fit the largest wheels.)

Lucid's decision to stagger both the wheel widths and wheel diameters on all three wheel options can make for some very tricky tire shopping.

Interesting. Is it true then that all deliveries yet scheduled are Green with the biggest wheels?

That I don't know. Black Gravities have shown up alongside green ones at recent shows and press events, and there were black Gravities alongside green ones in the factory staging area in the most recent drone flyover, although the greens did predominate. (Most of those cars had the CCS front charging ports, indicating they are destined for KSA . . . although they were mysteriously missing the charge port doors.)

@Osyris did post on Reddit, however, that the wheels on the Dream No. 1 he's getting this week will not initially be the wheels he ordered, but that might be because the event is being filmed for publicity, and Lucid wanted to showcase the car with a certain wheel (maybe the largest, but I'm not clear on that). At the recent "Press Week" event, there were cars with both large- and mid-size wheels.

From test drive - the three most popular colors are Green, Black and White and all three are prioritized for production runs. So if you want it fastest - you need to have ordered Green. But the other ones (Black and White) (again, from what I heard at the test drive) should also see early deliveries.
