Okay, I still choose the Air, but…

State Farm wanted $4K for the GT for 6 months, at least with me anyway. Clean history, no claims 🤷‍♂️
Sorry to hear that! I won’t mention my rates…
Do you have multiple windshield claims? 😁

Thank you! 👏 These were a few hot-buttons of mine, psyched that they've been addressed in the Gravity.
I've requested delivery in Arizona 🤞 to kick off a road trip to the Grand Canyon, Vegas, Colorado to see friends and work our way back to Florida.
Keith, when's your trip? I ordered my Gravity in February, and of course, no communication as to when it will enter production. So I"m thinking so as not to be disappointed that I won't see it until fall at the earliest. Summer would be great, though.

@borski any response to this question?
I have not paid any attention to that, but I also don't see a car on the screen or anything yet. I also know the interface has changed significantly, for example, because the shots of the interface at the cars at Meatpacking don't look at all like what's in our car. :)

So what we see on our dash may not be that useful of an answer to what you'll see.

Thanks for the response.

December software version versus March version. Makes sense.

Hopefully what I saw in the NYC event video is the brake indicator.

So…… why aren’t you getting software updates?

We are. But just like Air, what’s “current” inside Lucid is always ahead of what’s “current” outside Lucid.

I’m sure we’ll get this one at some point soon.

Yes, if I recall correctly, but don’t quote me on that. If someone reminds me, I’ll try to take a pic tomorrow.

Yes, very much so. Also there are plugs at each seat, basically. All USB-C.

There is a USB port. It is, as far as I can tell, for Halo Secure. I have no idea if it will charge a phone or something.

Bigger, and can hold any cup. Water bottles don’t always fit, but the sides have detents for those like in the Air.
I've been wondering if there's a way to cleanly run a cable from the USB port in the console to power something outside the console (such as a radar detector) and still be able to shut the sliding glass lid? Not sure if you can sneak it out the side or the front/back of the armrest. Powering my radar detector will definitely be high priority when my GDE arrives lol. (I know someone will eventually figure out how to tap into the mirror power...but that's not something I'll be willing to be the guinea pig on out of the gate).

I've not made any hard plans yet. We're retired, so pretty flexible with the timeframe .. just waiting for Lucid to get back to me.

Totally depends on where you live

Usually Blendmount has radar detector mounts for the mirror. I had one for a 911 in the past - worked great. I don't see any fitment at this time for the Lucid.

Has anyone formed an opinion on whether the interior of the Gravity gets as hot as the Air (with glass roof) now that we’re getting sunny warmer weather?
I'm going to take this one a bit. I've got a Tesla Model X, with the same sweeping, massive glass roof. Over the five years I've had it, I've not had a real issue with the heat. That orange reflective coating you see on these glass roofs seems to really reflect a lot of the solar radiation. Having lived with it, I know I won't have an issue with the Gravity roof and I prefer the glass over a metal roof. I love being able to look up at buildings etc., unobstructed. The biggest complaint I have with it on the Tesla is the stupid sun shades. They're completely useless. I mean USELESS. They store nicely, but they're so tiny that when put into place they block nothing at all. The Lucid sunshades are much larger and look to be much better in that regard.

@borski is it accurate to say your wife currently has a rare, limited production '25 Gravity GT?
I recall the discussion on the forum about model year designation back when Lucid first gave the Gravity a '26 model year designation and then changed it.

Since her model was released prior to Jan. 2, 2025, it is not a '26 model, correct?
I know she is waiting on a Gravity DE ('26 I presume), but until then she has a unicorn?

LOL the model year rules - I have owned many cars that did not follow these.

It clearly says MPV, which means “minivan”. IN CAPS TOO. In two places.
(Sorry, couldn’t resist)

@borski one question about the Gravity came to mind while watching today’s reviews; for the AC vents in the third row, which climate control zone out of the four zones do they follow?

this is my thread and I will ban you and all your ancestors

The respective rear zones. Left follows rear left, right follows rear right.

Okay, we're about to drive @borski nuts, but . . .

MPV is the abbreviation for "multi-purpose vehicle". Those multi purposes are quite obviously "sport" and "utility", i. e., SUV.

See how easy that was? 🙃
