Audio Issues

I've been having this issue on my '25 AT as well, wish I saw this thread sooner. I will say I have not encountered it since update 2.6.11, although I haven't put many miles on the car since then.

To confirm my issue aligns with that being discussed in this thread - when my audio cuts out, the entertainment system is silent along with system sounds (things like touch feedback sounds and even the blinker sounds). Occasionally this bug is preceded by some non-linear distortion. Anyone else seeing this behavior?

I'll start keeping a record of occurrences.

Yes, this has happened to my 23 Touring a few times about 8-10 months ago. Thankfully, it went away with what I assumed was a software update. Hasn't done it since...

This is what happens, I get in my car, and random mornings, and I don't get audio out of Spotify, or any Audio Apps, or Car Play.
I pull over to the road, I do the re-set, magically audio comes back.
Then again same thing in few days,
Rinse and Repeat.
Not sure I can explain any clearer, but thats the bug.
And none of you ever pull over to the side to restart your Audio, unbelievable if true, or you all lying.
I've experienced this exact issue on several occasions and took the exact steps to resolve but it hasn't been as frequent as your experience. The last occurrence was a few weeks ago. It's very annoying.

same. all sounds go away. i am now in the practice of 'rebooting' my 25 AGT every morning on the way to work, and then again holding that "A" down before my ride home from work. It's the BEST way to not get frustrated with the audio system and have it temporarily working every time I drive. I can recreate every issue w/ Tidal like clockwork(noted on another thread). My daughter said today on the way to drop her off at school as she was cautiously looking for the next song to play.. "how many more songs can I skip before Tidal crashes again?.

The audio software has not been well thought out. The list of favorites has always been poorly done. The recent update has only made it worse. Now weak stations are not shown. Sounds good but other local stations (with their call letters) are shown in their place.

I set several favorites for the NYC area, others for Albany, Central VT and Northern VT. This covers my frequent drives to the ski slopes. In previous cars I arranged these from Southern most to Northern most. As I drive north I keep upping the starion. Now I see a group of stations that I don't listen to (that use the same frequency as stations I use located near Canada). Meanwhile the station I want is not shown because Lucid thinks it's too weak when processed through their poorly implemented antenna.

Lucid should allow you to schedule nightly reboots, at say 3AM until these things are fixed.

I'd also like to be able to change stations on Sirius XM with the next/previous track buttons or the up/down scroll wheel. I happen to listen to stations that are near each other numerically and it would be nice to channel surf (or better yet cycle through my favorites). I don't understand the assignment of these controls right now at all in SiriusXM.

excellent idea. honestly... if they had that as an option, this forum would be more about how great the car is to drive. ;)

call it Ctrl+Alt+Lucid

What? When your car falls asleep, it is booted fresh when it wakes up in the morning. That’s literally a reboot.

Is that true? doesn't match what I'm seeing (anyone know how to run 'uptime' on these? LOL)

Yes, it’s true. You can track the state and “uptime” using Home Assistant with the Lucid integration.

Are you saying your car doesn’t fall asleep overnight? Because you’d be seeing a *lot* more phantom drain were that the case.

Not saying that - my card sleeps properly at night.

I am not seing a full logo reboot though as you stated. Good to hear it is doing so though (doesn't explain why I still have to logo reboot to get SiriusXM to work on some drives... stuck on "Loading..." for all stations until I logo reboot). I don't have HASS setup via API's though so I'll trust you if you are seeing full reboots via the API.

Hi - was searching for an answer on many threads - here is my new problem with audio since last update:

I listen to podcasts on Spotify. I leave the car, when I come back, the audio defaults to bluetooth and I have to switch back to Spotify and search for my podcast all over again. Nuisance.

1) when I do find the podcast, it is still saved where I left off.
2) I have tried manually pausing when I leave car. Doesn't work
3) I have tried shutting off the music icon on settings both with Lucid and my phone. Gets overridden when I enter car. Car finds my phone and turns the Bluetooth music back on, and I lose the podcast.
4) tried resetting my phone and hard reset on Lucid
5) no music is playing from my phone

This is more nuisance, but never happened before and I don't know what other solutions exist or if anyone else has this problem. I have a samsung galaxy 23 note phone.

Used to enjoy just getting back in my car and picking up where I left off. Now I get a "not found" error message on the car as it defaults back to Bluetooth. Very weird.

Let me know - thanks all!

Hm, I suppose it’s possible I’m wrong on this, and that the sleep doesn’t actually reboot the CCC. I’ll see if I can get confirmation; my *assumption* is that it does, but I will try to confirm that. The state reported by the API definitely is the same, but I suppose that doesn’t technically mean that a reboot has occurred.

You’re right, I’m wrong, and in retrospect it should have been obvious; the screens take a long time to come back after a reboot. That means that overnight it is being “hibernated” or suspended, not rebooted.

Yesterday and today Audio stopped working 8:25am issue seems to be related to leaving car u locked and lock unlock multiple trips back to house to pick up things Audio gets disconnected recommend testing this use case

I had this happen several times. Now it doesn't. For me, all the trails led back to two things, Apple Airplay and proximity unlock via my iPhone. If you are using these features, turn them off for a bit and see if the problem continues. My only (layman's) guess is that multiple pairing/unpairing events as I moved around my house (my garage is built right into my house with rooms above it) is what was breaking things. I turned off proximity unlock and got a cable to plug in my phone a month ago and I haven't seen this problem since. Since then, I have turned Airplay back on and still have seen no problems. So, YMMV of course and in a better world we wouldn't need a work-around for a core car function, but I'm much happier now with my car, at the price of having to push the door handle to unlock it.

Thank you someone suggested I check passive unlock and low behold I had it on so now I turned that all off should reduce handoffs
