Lucid Air Grand Touring
I ordered a Lucid Air GT online from the list of available vehicles last week. I ordered it specifically because it said it was available in 2 weeks. As soon as I placed my order, I uploaded all the necessary information (drivers license, insurance etc.) and applied for financing. My financing was approved and I accepted the offer. Since then, it's been crickets. Even my sales specialist has gone AWOL. It's been 8 days, and I still don't have confirmation about my delivery date. What are other experiencing when it comes to wait times for available vehicles?

my experience: I had a good sales rep. I told her what I wanted and she found one that was "available in 2 weeks". she said it will actually be delivered in 2-3 days and could also get me the on site pick up credit. I did all the paper work and picked it up 2 days after.

in your case, couple things to consider:
it has not been 2 weeks yet
it is the end of quarter, and lucid is a public traded company trying to meet deliveries. they are probably extremely busy.

Sorry but no excuse for them going AWOL. My sales experience was OK but not great. My sales rep gave me some info that ended up being wrong on the car I was looking at.

I had my friend took delivery in 4 days. He got a lease for 18 months.

Call you nearest studio and tell them to get you in contact with Lucid financial. You will have a POC. You may need to rush because $5000 onsite credit may or may not be available in October.

Here is a little bit of data:

- I ordered a new 2025 Pure on 8/30/24, and was told 3-4 months for delivery.
- On 9/24/24 I received an email from my SA saying that my 'vehicle has started production', and given a VIN..

Still Waiting...

Can anyone please comment on their delivery interval for a new 2025 special (not from show room) new order including: When ordered, when delivered, type and color. Thanks

Well - No one has commented yet on their order interval for a new 2025 car. Am I to assume that you are all buying showroom models?

Just an update - I got my car finally after 4 weeks. The sales experience was not ideal, to be honest. As a timeline:
19-Sept: Ordered an "available in 2 weeks" vehicle
04-Oct: After calling customer care, the sales line, emailing and chatting on the website, and of course trying to get in touch with my Sales Specialist, one of the sales specialist called me to inform me that my car is in route
09-Oct: Car reached the delivery center
10-Oct: Got a call from the sales specialist to organize the delivery, which I scheduled for the 14th. 14th turned out to be a bank holiday and my sales specialist only got me the amount that was due at delivery on Oct 11th which was past the cutoff time to wire the amount. So my delivery had to get pushed out to the 16th
16-Oct: Delivery scheduled at 11am. At about 9am I got a call from the sales specialist that my delivery cannot happen because of a stop sale! No other information. I took it upon myself to call the delivery center directly and got in touch with the service manager who didn't have much to add either. Around 11am they called me back and said it was a small hiccup which they fixed up and the car was ready for delivery.

Overall the experience to buy the car was not ideal. I understand that they're building their business but I genuinely felt like my Sales Specialist was not interested in selling fme a car.

But as you've seen on these forums, the drive is so worth it. It's such an excellent car and the delivery experience was fantastic (bar the small hiccup). I've spent most of my days in the car playing around with the tech or just going on long drives. I'm already forgetting about the sales experience.

I'm glad you got yours.

Thus far I have zero data points on delivery intervals for new 2025 orders (not showroom or 'available in 2 weeks.')

2025's must have started factory output in June, july, August 2024?? Does anyone know?

Are they all going to showrooms? Are they held up for some other reason?

I was recently talking to my sales associate for a friend. My SA and I kept in touch with each other beyond the sale and he is always super responsive and I send many of my friends to him to buy their Lucid’s. They don’t work own commission but he is genuinely great person who is passionate about Lucid.

He told me we are out of 2024s for Texas but he might be able to get 2024s for New York or some other states but it is a dwindling supply. They are not manufacturing MY24 anymore and existing inventory is mostly depleted.

Do you have a sales associate? Are they not responsive? I can DM you my guy’s contact if you want but I am not sure if he can help if you are already working with someone else.

Thanks - I have an SA, and at end August she said 3 - 4 months for delivery.

A month or so later she sent me my VIN number.

What I am trying to determine is if anyone who ordered a new 2025 ever received it, and how long it took after their initial order.

Thanks again.

Good they did a stop sale to " fix or check" something instead of dumping the car on the customer...I've heard many horror stories from Tesla owners immediately after taking delivery.

I placed my custom AT 2025 order September 24th. I don't have a VIN yet. Do you guys think its reasonable to think I will take delivery by Thanksgiving?

Any further info on your build?

I ordered my AP 11/6…the day before Gravity orders went live. I was told by my sales associate that the wait would be 2-5 months. I ordered mine in Fathom Blue, Platinum, Santa Cruz Leather with DDPro and the Pro audio package. I’ve heard nothing since my order acknowledgement (not that I expected to yet)…

I ordered a plain white Air Pur with no options on Aug, 30, 2024.

My SA indicated 3 - 4 months for delivery.

A month or so later she sent me my VIN number. It was delivered to my driveway by a third party enclosed truck at 8 AM on Sunday Nov 10, 2024.

Thanks for the reply! Hopefully you are enjoying your new car!!

Blue: Yes Enjoying, but still learning how to use all the buttons and screens.

P.S. - I used to live in Monmouth County NJ and worked at Bell Labs in Holmdel NJ
