Just an update - I got my car finally after 4 weeks. The sales experience was not ideal, to be honest. As a timeline:
19-Sept: Ordered an "available in 2 weeks" vehicle
04-Oct: After calling customer care, the sales line, emailing and chatting on the website, and of course trying to get in touch with my Sales Specialist, one of the sales specialist called me to inform me that my car is in route
09-Oct: Car reached the delivery center
10-Oct: Got a call from the sales specialist to organize the delivery, which I scheduled for the 14th. 14th turned out to be a bank holiday and my sales specialist only got me the amount that was due at delivery on Oct 11th which was past the cutoff time to wire the amount. So my delivery had to get pushed out to the 16th
16-Oct: Delivery scheduled at 11am. At about 9am I got a call from the sales specialist that my delivery cannot happen because of a stop sale! No other information. I took it upon myself to call the delivery center directly and got in touch with the service manager who didn't have much to add either. Around 11am they called me back and said it was a small hiccup which they fixed up and the car was ready for delivery.
Overall the experience to buy the car was not ideal. I understand that they're building their business but I genuinely felt like my Sales Specialist was not interested in selling fme a car.
But as you've seen on these forums, the drive is so worth it. It's such an excellent car and the delivery experience was fantastic (bar the small hiccup). I've spent most of my days in the car playing around with the tech or just going on long drives. I'm already forgetting about the sales experience.
