Hi. Great solution. I see that the magnets have 70 pounds of force. Does that have any issues that cause the magnets to pull away from the carpet when you open or close the pieces.?

Also which specific size and length screw did you use? The kit you linked to have hundreds of screws where I only need a couple. I may already have the size. Do you know the specific size you used? Thanks in advance.

I wound up using the screws that came with the magnets.
 
Apologies for resurrecting an old thread… 😁

This solution works wonders!! Simple and easy!!! The linked magnets are quite powerful. I ended up offsetting the magnets and discs by 50% so they wouldn’t pull one or other out of the divider… 😂😂
