I made a deposit on Feb 28 for a GT, and have just been invited to place an order - not quite a month later. Seems a little quick?

Yes, I'm wondering how the conversion rate of deposits into orders is looking.... are 1-2 batches away from potentially an almost immediate order.
Yes....do it....plus you have a bigger battery pack for that V2H backup!Tempted to just upgrade my order to GT since a spec'd out Touring is only like $17k less plus I'd have it sooner.
Do it, the car is awesome to drive.Tempted to just upgrade my order to GT since a spec'd out Touring is only like $17k less plus I'd have it sooner.
I did BofA over 6 years, nice rate and works easy with Lucid.I just bought a house, should probably let me credit cool down..... but you are convincing me.....I am also tempted to just buy it outright but I've heard good things about financing through Bank of America.
17? Isn’t it 27?Tempted to just upgrade my order to GT since a spec'd out Touring is only like $17k less plus I'd have it sooner.
You're right. $113,200 fully spec'd vs $140,00017? Isn’t it 27?
If they are confirming GT orders placed less than a month away, it sounds like they will be close to sending invites to confirm the first Touring orders very soon.
Haven't gotten fully through the application as the site isn't recognizing the VIN, but Penn Federal Credit is doing 1.99% for new cars. That's my current plan.I just bought a house, should probably let me credit cool down..... but you are convincing me.....I am also tempted to just buy it outright but I've heard good things about financing through Bank of America.
Check any available credit union. The quotes I got from Provident & USAA last month were lower than bofa.I just bought a house, should probably let me credit cool down..... but you are convincing me.....I am also tempted to just buy it outright but I've heard good things about financing through Bank of America.
playing a lil bit of devils advocate here - why do you think 'production' specifically and not, say just the confirmations / conversions have ramped up?See: https://lucidowners.com/threads/grand-touring-batch-tracker.493/
They have caught up on orders up to probably March now. With three batches this month, it seems like production has significantly ramped up. My prediction is that next batch they should be doing the remaining orders or most of it. We are 1-2 batches away from potentially an almost immediate order.
Probably because people are actually getting VINs assigned to them whereas before it was just a conversion to a non-refundable deposit and order confirmationplaying a lil bit of devils advocate here - why do you think 'production' specifically and not, say just the confirmations / conversions have ramped up?
Exactly what @hydbob said. I think once they get over this bolt campaign (which it seems they have), we should see more deliveries as well. VINs assignments indicate the car is fairly far in the production process as well.playing a lil bit of devils advocate here - why do you think 'production' specifically and not, say just the confirmations / conversions have ramped up?
Thanks, I am a USAA member so I am tempted to bundle home and auto.Check any available credit union. The quotes I got from Provident & USAA last month were lower than bofa.
The name of the campaign is Inverter Cooler Torque Campaign just as a fyiExactly what @hydbob said. I think once they get over this bolt campaign (which it seems they have), we should see more deliveries as well. VINs assignments indicate the car is fairly far in the production process as well.
