OTA update 2.1.42

I don't know if it is related to the .42 update, but my Hi Fi Tidal subscription is now showing a Dolby Atmos label display on the Atmos tracks...
It’s always there.

Yes, but I’ll need help from the forum with that. Here’s few:
  • Surreal Sound basic sounds way better
  • CarPlay call sound is way better
  • HA performs much better and lane biasing behavior is improved
Lucid UX phone call audio is improved

My Touring seems to be ‘disconnected’ after the update. iOS App shows as Vehicle Offline, the Nav doesn’t track my movements or load favorites, the clock is not correct (it stayed at the exact time I first got in the car after the update, and then started to move after about 30 mins - it’s now about 8hrs behind), and the music apps & Alexa don’t work….

I also ‘lost’ HA some time ago and was told that one of the updates should correct it, but it has not returned.

Anyone have any ideas on either/all of these issues? Have done a number of soft resets and profile resets but nothing seems to work.

If no cellular connection after an overnight deep sleep you will need a service appointment.

Get in contact with customer care. Something fishy is going on with your car.

I have touring and I didn't get the update pushed to me yet.

Have tried texting and calling customer care but have yet to speak with/hear from anyone.

Did the problem begin today or yesterday? Sometimes cellular connection is restored overnight.

Yesterday morning after the update. Checked my Eero router and it shows no connection since I pulled out of the garage yesterday morning. In the car, it LOOKS like it is connected to WiFi, but clearly not if the router isn’t picking up any activity.

Yes a service call is needed.

Spoke with cust care but no service techs around to help. They attempted to wake the car remotely and couldn’t connect, so waiting on service to contact me. Will post more once there’s something to update.

I've been through this. They will have to connect directly to the module to reset it which requires service to come in person.

Well I’m about 450 miles from nearest service center so that feels….unlikely to happen anytime soon! 😝

GT here, and I am (im)patiently waiting for the v2-1-42 to land here also. What is just WRONG is that if I launch the app, the little "gift" icon in the upper right (for the referral program) has the white dot on it, so one would immediately think maybe an update has dropped. Nope. And if you click on it, the dot still doesn't go away. That is just mean.

Pleased to report that HA is back and better than ever. I left the car overnight in a hotel car park, unplugged and next to a Chevy Bolt that was hogging the only charger. This was clearly enough to make the Lucid see the error of its ways 😆
Hmm.

HA worked beautifully today for the first couple of hours after leaving New Haven. Stopped for some juice at EVGo Sturbridge - only stayed 5 minutes as the “200kW” charger would only give me 52kW - and from there back to NH, no HA.

Not planning on needing it again until probably Tuesday, will see then if it’s fixed itself (again).

Just want to confirm what others stated before HA is definitely an improvement from previous version. I only tested at night and it didnt have an issue holding a centered like beautifully through various speeds and degree turns. There was a situation where there was a construction and the lanes got narrower and the car said break and slowed down significantly. Overall feeling much more confident letting HA take over the before the update. Great job Lucid engineers.

Yep, that's the problem. And not to pull the "but Tesla" card, my old model S had the radial on the instrument cluster to show how much power/regen was available. If it was limited you'd get a warning, and get a basic visual indicator on how much you had to work with due to SoC or temperature. So the precedent is there.
Agreed. We need that warning.

I will be driving tomorrow Montreal to DC in cold weather. How much was the range impacted by the weather? I average so far 4 miles per kWh at 70mph but in moderate to hot weather 60 to 115F 8k miles on Pure AWD.

It definitely makes a difference. I’m seeing 3.4 miles per kWh at 75-80 when it’s in the 30s outside. Car just turned past 1000 miles on this trip.

More importantly, if you’re up for a beer en route please let me know. I’m in NH until the 25th, then back to DC.

There are several posts about cold weather efficiency popping up on various threads here. Great topic. Maybe we can consolidate into one thread as we accumulate more experiences heading into winter. I have experienced a 25% decline in efficiency at 25F versus 70F (3.2 vs 4.2) flat terrain.
