Is there a way to up the amps when using level 1 charging?

Aren't those lines limited to 20 amp max? Either way, it all depends on the breaker you have for that line. Contact an electrician!
 
No there is no way to up it. The Lucid mobile cable with the 110V adapter cannot tell if it is on a 15A or 20A circuit. For safety it has to default to 80% of 15A, or 12A max.
At first it was much lower. It looks like it self adjusted to 12 which is what I was looking for. My volt defaults to 8 but you can tell it to go to 12.
 
You are going to be plugged in constantly as you will only be pulling 1.3 kW. Per hour. The BMS consumes some of that so the full 1.3 kW is not going to enter the battery. On a 92 kW Touring battery, going from 20 to 80%, you will be adding 55 kW (even more on a GT) and probably only adding 1 kW an hour to the battery, so it would take over two days to charge the car - and even longer if the temps are very hot or cold which will cause the B!S to consume more of that power.While 110v works for PHEVs, it is really not a practical solution for this beast.

Exactly. I always saw a level one as a useful way to protect the battery from very cold weather by leaving it plugged in overnight.

I’m only putting 20 miles per day. I think I’ll be OK
