Yay Hardware upgrade CPU and memory

Mobile tech completed mine in about two hours. Had mine completed Monday. Maps seem quicker, and the search keyboard pops up faster, but otherwise I’m not seeing much of a difference. I’m just hoping this future-proofed the car a bit

So is this only for pre-2025 vehicles? Or does it only show up if you have a service center to go to (so not Denver)
I believe this is what comes standard with the 2025s, yes.

I'm not sure what you mean by "show up" because the upgrade process in the app seems to be a blank text field where you manually type in CCCv2.

The CCC v2 upgrade was 100% worth it on my opinion. Noticeably improved performance on every single interaction.

Question: I was given the old CCC v1 unit by the service center after upgrade. Any tech savvy forum members have any ideas how I could use that/play with it for fun?

What I meant was I never saw anything in the app about the CCCv2 upgrade as an option. But i have a 2025 so it makes sense now.

I didn't see it either, but Lucid emailed me, and presumably everybody who might be interested. It would be nice if the app showed potential upgrades but I haven't seen any so far.

Just an FYI that if you upgrade software to 2.8.0 before the CCC v2 upgrade, the upgrade to CPU can’t be done. Mobile service tried to do the CCC v2 upgrade but failed and he had had to reinstall the original CCC. He got back to me that this is now a bug that will need to be fixed maybe by another software upgrade. Bottom line don’t upgrade to 2.8.0 until after you get the CCC v2 upgrade.

Too late.

What??!! 😵

For those of you with mobile tech service, where were you? Millbrae wanted me to bring it in (where it is sitting in queue now)

Can someone else confirm this? I upgraded to 2.8.0 yesterday and my upgrade appointment is coming Monday... Yikes 😬

What! Ok, so my car is 12th in a queue to get worked on since last week and get the cccv2 upgrade..2 days ago I got notice of 2.8.0 being available, I go head and remotely approve it .and it fails installation and remains at 2.7. I wonder if that was on design or something that my update didn't make it and got installed...I dunno... speculating a bit here...but now I'm glad it failed... hopefully the studio resolves it...!

Too late for me.

I was on the fence anyway - spend a thousand dollars on upgrading to the new CPU or whatever it’s called; or spend a thousand dollars on placing a deposit on a Gravity GT.
