Yay Hardware upgrade CPU and memory

Depends on how busy they are, I suppose, but I would expect at least overnight, if not two days.

Is this a "while you wait" or do you leave the car?

Profile switching *way* faster. Takes only like 5-6 seconds now. Keyless entry is the same.

One note: when you get the upgrade, you’ll have to set up all of your profiles and settings again, so take that into consideration.

Just got mine back today, and boy is this aggravating. It seems they could have backed up the profile and restored it to the new hardware. Seat/mirror/steering wheel settings, Apple CarPlay, garage door opener... everything has to be redone.

Just got mine back today, and boy is this aggravating. It seems they could have backed up the profile and restored it to the new hardware. Seat/mirror/steering wheel settings, Apple CarPlay, garage door opener... everything has to be redone.

The seat and steering wheel positions are quickly saved back to your profile as long as they weren’t moved while the module was being replaced. They should not have been moved since install take place on the passenger side.

Homelink took the longest to restore for me however it went much faster than when I first programmed it.

Just a follow up...seems like my hands free is NOT working properly. I went on a slightly longer road trip and I have been getting constant errors regarding both mirrors being blocked, hands free sensors blocked, my face isn't detected and the hands free instantly shutting off. May or may not be related to the new console upgrade...I have a service appointment beginning of next month.

Is the steering wheel low enough that you can see all of the face sensor under the driver's display? This position will block the upper part of the display by approximately the steering wheel's thickness.
