World Premier Polestar 3

We have three cars with HUDs. The oldest is a 2018 Navigator. At first, I thought that it was a gimmick but now when I get in the Lucid, I miss it. The best one we have is in the AMG EQS. The NAV data in the HUD is spectacular.
I agree, the EQS HUD was pretty much the only feature I really liked about the EQS. I didn’t much like the rest of the car, but I did love the HUD.

I like EQS Augmented Reality. I hope Lucid down the road can have that in navigation video on right pilot cockpit…. Hopefully… version 4.0, 5.0?

Already a review in 24 hours?!

Anyway, I think interior is modern and posh, better much looking than Polestar 2 with redesigned gear shifting stalk instead of center console shifter knob.

Outside look very much like other crossovers on the market. Subjectively, it is still way better looking than BMW iX and Cadillac Lyriq.

My top tier SUV choices are still R1S, Model-X, or upcoming Gravity. I want that 3rd row seats!!!

So this Polestar 3, my family will pass.
I partly agree. It is definitely better looking than the BMW IX (a rather low bar I would say). I think the Cadillac Lyriq and the Polestar 3 are both about the same in terms of looks for me. Personally, I prefer the Lyriq (which is my backup for the Lucid) but I still prefer the Lucid.

Lyriq is also a lot cheaper as well.

Lyriq is a lot cheaper bc its base is 60k, once you added dual motors, it would be 65k and other features.

Polestar 3 uses same pricing strategy as Lucid, get higher trim out first at 83k, once the top trim are delivered, they can allow option to remove Pilot and Plus packages roughly about 10K+ and dual motor to single motor etc for further reduction. I believe the Plus package comes with 25 internal speakers Dolby ATMOS and 3 external speakers for safety. LiDAR most likely in Pilot package.

Polestar has very good fit and finish, Google software, but its Polestar 3 design didn’t strike me as any special. All these crossover SUV look almost the same to me.

I was also disappointed with the 400V pack, and 300 mile range (some of that due to SUV's tall profile and high ground clearance). Sounds like Polestar won't allow ordering of the Lidar option until the software is ready. Hoping the Poelstar 4 will be more desirable to replace my wife's car in 18 months. So I'll be taking delivery of my AGT after all.
I have to agree that 300 mile range is a deal breaker. It is worrisome that the Volvo EX90 also will be offered with a similar insufficient range. We will know November 9. Geely owns Polestar / Volvo and also markets Zeekr in China. A current Zeekr model uses a CATL battery with range of 1000km (621 miles). It is distressing that Geely has the ability to offer Volvo and Polestar with much greater range and has chosen not to do so. It seems if one wants an SUV with at least 400 mile range, they must wait for the Gravity or the upcoming Audi A6 Etron Avant.

The 621 miles range battery hasn’t proven for mass production. Who knows for Polestar 4 or 5.
